Hi Drew, I understand you are the owner of Pitas. I would like to talk to you about my experience at Pitas in Gunnison. If interested you may reach me at 970.209.8233. Thanks.
Never again. After picking up the to go order and getting all the way home, we discovered a missing gyro. I called and told them but didn’t want to go back to town that night, so I was told that I could come me in the next day to get refunded. So I did, and was scolded by the kitchen manager who said he made the order and everything was in the bag. He lied and was rude. And now my husband will never get the mediocre overpriced OG ever again.

Wings 👎🏼 classic burger 👎🏼 but the fries were good.
Classic Burger was very dry and extremely over cooked. $14 absolutely over priced.
Bone in wings the first time (I took them back) were dry to the bone, literally. The second batch was better, still not a great product. $20 wings had better be pretty good for the area, not the case.
I gave these wings to someone else , he threw them away after eating one.

Rice in rice bowl was uncooked! They need a proper rice cooker if they are going to cook rice. Or just get easy cooking rice! Also the grilled chicken is not seasoned, very plain chicken. The OG gyro pita wrap, fries and the coleslaw were the only acceptable items we ordered.

My pita was filled with gyro meat, ?, cucumber, feta, banana peppers, and Kalamata olives with delicious tzatzki sauce. That with the twisty fries made my day and filled me up after a lot of mountain trekking. The super friendly server and puppy friendly patio made it an extra great experience.

Have been here a time or two…some of the food is good, some just ok. Came into for a bite to eat and very crowded. Asked if we could move a chair to accommodate our family. The manager/owner(????) was behind the bar, barked “yes if you move it back”. She then propped her feet up and resumed being on her phone while a ton of people waited in line. No thank you!
So we are visiting Gunnison this weekend and decided to try Pitas in Paradise after a long day of driving and hiking. The staff are very friendly. We chose to go with the greek salad and the greek fries. The salad was fresh and well made. It had plenty of everything on it and tasted great. The fries were AWESOME! Plenty of toppings and the fries themselves were crispy and flavorful. I would recommend P in P if you want a decent meal, we liked it.

Are you kidding me with this? Me and my wife got the OG gyro and they were average at best. Our pitas were cold and brick hard! Why serve this??? I know whoever made these gyros wouldn't want their pita hard and cold, so why serve us something you wouldn't even eat yourselves? This place is a joke! My sons pita was nice and warm and soft! Why serve us hard cold ones???? The meat didn't taste anything like it should, plus it was dry!! Arbys makes a WAY better gyro and that's sad!! The biggest indictment is the fact that we paid 62$ for 2 adults and 1 child! There are no specifications on the UP CHARGES!! 3 bucks to add fries? It's already $15 for the gyro and a BAG of chips! Huh? $3 more dollars for a drink! I legit feel like someone went into pocket and stole my money! I mean no disrespect to the owner, but the people you hired to prepare this junk need to be fired! ASAP!!! What a horrible experience! The worst! Uggghhhhhh!!!! ??

I was very excited to try this place as gyros are one of my favorite foods. I've had so many different gyros across the country and this has to be my least favorite and also most expensive. Over $60 for 2 adults and one child to eat. (2 gyros with drink and fries and a kids gyro meal). I wouldn't have minded paying that much if it was worth the price but the pitas were extremely hard and there wasn't much meat or feta. The flavor isn't there either. It's just way too much money for the quality you get. Will not be returning.

Good food. Place was a little loud. Just people talking and the echo (some were employees). Pricing was a little on the high side. However, we did have a good experience and have no problem coming back. Coleslaw was great! 5 stars.Check out our YouTube channel at Coolest Life.

Great food! We had the Original Pita-most generous, and the three bowl. Cauliflower/potato with garam masala was the best of those but nice to get a sampling. Food came very fast too and very friendly service. Great prices for 3-5 pm happy hour. Would definitely stop again.
