The food that my family and I had was very tasty! I got a rice bowl and the rest of my family got pita, which they all had positive reviews for. I will say tho, that it said that my rice bowl would come with tofu and I only got one small tofu cube in my whole rice bowl, but other than that it was yummy! The service was alright. Not super friendly and the bartender was super loud, but she got the point across and we all got what we wanted, so that was good. :) The atmosphere was a bit off and gave more of a sports bar vibe, then pita vibe, but the food was good! :)

Pretty good food. Vegetable curry was so so. Them tied potatoe curry. Which was way better. Pretty good OG SANDWICH. Chef was a good dude!

Uncooked rice, overpriced food with no flavor, loud/noisy place, too expensive for the quality/quantity, will not return👎

The pitas here are bomb. And they include the sauce and toppings you would naturally want unlike some places I've been where those things cost extra to add. A greek style pita should definitely automatically include feta and tatziki, and this place delivers. They're also still reasonably priced - ~$15 for a pita and chips/coleslaw. Not too bad! Plus, if you dine in during happy hour that's just $11. (The atmosphere at this location is somewhat lacking, though, I will say. I might only dine in if it were for happy hour. Otherwise I'd order this deliciousness to-go.)

Hi Drew, I understand you are the owner of Pitas. I would like to talk to you about my experience at Pitas in Gunnison. If interested you may reach me at 970.209.8233. Thanks.

Never again. After picking up the to go order and getting all the way home, we discovered a missing gyro. I called and told them but didn’t want to go back to town that night, so I was told that I could come me in the next day to get refunded. So I did, and was scolded by the kitchen manager who said he made the order and everything was in the bag. He lied and was rude. And now my husband will never get the mediocre overpriced OG ever again.

Wings 👎🏼 classic burger 👎🏼 but the fries were good.

Classic Burger was very dry and extremely over cooked. $14 absolutely over priced.

Bone in wings the first time (I took them back) were dry to the bone, literally. The second batch was better, still not a great product. $20 wings had better be pretty good for the area, not the case.

I gave these wings to someone else , he threw them away after eating one.

Rice in rice bowl was uncooked! They need a proper rice cooker if they are going to cook rice. Or just get easy cooking rice! Also the grilled chicken is not seasoned, very plain chicken. The OG gyro pita wrap, fries and the coleslaw were the only acceptable items we ordered.

My pita was filled with gyro meat, ?, cucumber, feta, banana peppers, and Kalamata olives with delicious tzatzki sauce. That with the twisty fries made my day and filled me up after a lot of mountain trekking. The super friendly server and puppy friendly patio made it an extra great experience.

Have been here a time or two…some of the food is good, some just ok. Came into for a bite to eat and very crowded. Asked if we could move a chair to accommodate our family. The manager/owner(????) was behind the bar, barked “yes if you move it back”. She then propped her feet up and resumed being on her phone while a ton of people waited in line. No thank you!

So we are visiting Gunnison this weekend and decided to try Pitas in Paradise after a long day of driving and hiking. The staff are very friendly. We chose to go with the greek salad and the greek fries. The salad was fresh and well made. It had plenty of everything on it and tasted great. The fries were AWESOME! Plenty of toppings and the fries themselves were crispy and flavorful. I would recommend P in P if you want a decent meal, we liked it.
