The new owner deserve a try
They are so nice and welcoming Before these new owners I couldn't really eat the food there because it would hurt my stomach really bad. But now I enjoy every bit of it. It's DELICIOUS 😋

What a delight to find this little treasure in the small eastern Colorado town of Holyoak.

Friendly and efficient service, the place was neat and clean and smelled wonderful. Oh, did I mention the food? Hubby had Kung Pao shrimp and I had Hunan shrimp. It was delicious! Huge shrimp and the veggies were Stir fried perfectly, crisp and tasty!

If you ever find yourself in this area, make sure to give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

We ordered the Sweet and Sour Combination, Shrimp with Broccoli, Cheese Wontons and Mongolian Beef. First off the amount of food that was given on the to go order was way less than it used to be and I was not aware that there had been a management change. The food was practically inedible. Everything was over fried and hard as a rock. The Mongolian Beef has so much black pepper now, it got thrown in the trash because it was overpowering. The Sweet and Sour Combination was hard and flavorless, the Shrimp with Broccoli used to be in a white sauce, now it is in a brown sauce, so no longer gluten-free. The Cheese Wontons were also over fried and hard. The rice tasted more like microwaved rice, rather than steamed. For almost $75 I expected a lot better and will not be wasting the money again. Great service though.

Contrary to the one of the other reviews, our group of six people were more than happy with the service, as well as the quality and quantity of food delivered quickly. The waitress was excellent and very personable.

I got sesame chicken, orange chicken and chicken with broccoli for the family. The staff is authentic and friendly. The lady who brought the food out was beautiful and a delight. I will be eating here again.

Update:In response to your response no we did not take any food home in any boxes so you have us confused with a different table. Each entree we ordered did come with fried rice or steamed rice, you neglected to bring us 3 more plates. The egg rolls in question were listed on the menu as an appetizer of 3 and clearly from a picture you have chosen to show, Nowhere does it say vegetarian next to the egg rolls listed in the menu.... We ordered 2 orders so everyone would receive one at our table. We did not specify we wanted vegetarian and your waitress knew it. Also not at any time did she ask us if everything was okay not once. In your response to us you say "We", Did you have your waitress wired up and heard her non verbal grunts of response....didn't think so. Did she even speak english? It amazes me that you chose to respond but clearly the restaurant has gone down in business because hardly anyone was there when we arrived. There was one table with all the others open. The party we were with discussed maybe this was a mistake to eat there but we gave it a go because we had been there before. Your business has declined which leads to closing your doors because no one should ever have to put up with bad customer service let alone paying for food one doesn't get.Had to take 4 stars away...turns out when we ordered our meals 3 dishes of fried rice were not delivered. The sweet and sour pork had the tiniest pieces of pork in overly fried breading. The egg rolls had absolutely no meat in them....Big pass there. Each dish came out one at a time. 2 of us ordered hot tea but only one was delivered. We were also charged a gratuity of $25.00 for 6 people. Good thing you're closing cause we'll head to the Wonderful house if we want great Chinese food.

Their portions are large. One dinner can feed two people or you will have lunch for the next day.

The person who provides you with attention from assigning a table, taking the order, serving, and charging is very unfriendly. It's the second time I've gone and this time he said when he received us that if we weren't planning on leaving a tip, we'd better ask to bring our food because it's a lot of work to wait on the table without receiving any tip in return. I don't think that is a very appropriate way to receive the client.

We ate at First dragon today after a long time, the last time we had it it was not great so we thought oh, we will give it another try. We went in during lunch, and you could have heard a pin drop by how quiet and awkward it was. I ordered egg drop soup and the smell and taste was awful! Then I ordered Beef and Broccoli with Fried Rice. The beef did not taste like actual beef and was hard to chew, and the fried rice smelled and tasted bad. Don’t even get me started on how bad the wonton was.
