Place looks newly renovated. Waitress was nice and kind. Service was good. Compared to allot of places in Denver and front range this food was poor in quality, portion's were very small. Sauces were barely there. Meat was bland. Most of the food I can make better myself. We gave it a try but not our favorite's.

Ordered the Chimichanga with chicken. The chicken was moist and yummy! The red sauce was the star of the show though, very delicious. I also really enjoyed the guacamole. The chips and salsa were a great start to the meal. Service was quick and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

I Ordered a smothered beef burrito. It had about 2 spoonfuls of a grainy substance I assume was hamburger. It was wrapped up in a baby banket size tortilla. It was smothered in canned green chili sauce with some beans and rice on the side. Cost $13. To drink I had a flat diet Pepsi. Cost $4. My wife had the same 13$ all tortilla burrito. She had a house margarita. Cost 8$. Total bill was $40. I don't mind spending $40 for lunch but I do expect a decent meal for the cost. I bet there wasn't a dollar worth of food on my plate, again it was mostly tortilla. We have been to Los parras about a year ago and thought the food was good, not good now. To their credit the place looks remodeled and clean. I should have been warned when the place was mostly empty at lunch time on a Saturday.

Ordered a plate of fajitas and shrimp added chicken fajita with charro beans also on the side didnt get no charro beans got a plate full of tomato onion's green peppers never again should of gotten a plate of veggies instead waist of my time ....owner wanted me to take my plate back and was gona tend to charge me for meat that should of been added since the first place when ordering Worst service ever ..

The food is amazing. Service is great, and the desserts are absolutely one of a kind. Definitly the place to go in the summertime. Fried ice cream, churros and much more!
The salsa was good with the chips. I had the medium combo. I had the Chile Relleno, taco, and guacamole tosatada. It was good, but I would probably not get the relleno again. It was ok.. The service was ok, but not very attentive considering there were only two of us in the restaurant. Meaning no offer for more tea and never checked on me to see how it tasted or how it was going. I actually needed more napkins, but she was too busy on her phone. It's hard to find good help these days. Overall, it's a decent place. It's just not a 5

The worst Restaurant I have ever been to service was terrible we waited 2 hours for our food and only got one refill when we got our food,if I could I would put negative stars, it was terrible so bad I could have cooked 5 meals at home and still been faster then them getting our drinks, it sucks and will never be back. DO NOT EAT HERE.
