This place is great! We saw the sign on the highway and decided to check it out. The building is from the late 1800’s so immediately I knew the atmosphere was going to be unique, I was not disappointed. We sat at the bar and had a quick cocktail and starter. They know how to pour a delicious old fashioned, I’m eager to sample their other signature drinks! However… the bacon starter. Damn. I could see myself getting REAL greedy next time I order it. I didn’t want to share! We planned on going again Saturday but couldn’t make it. This is our new destination every time we visit the area. I cannot recommend it enough.

We had the most fun ever here. Walked in and immediately felt like we were in a country western movie with music and libations and a lively crowd playing dice at one of the long wooden dining tables. Highly recommend if you are driving through or staying in town

Would go out of my way to regular this establishment.
They are wonderful in every way, and the building itself is a neat piece of history.

My daughter and I stayed in Hot Sulphur Springs at the resort for the weekend. We were delighted to find Dean Public House. We went there for dinner our first night and based on the food and overall experience we immediately reserved a spot for Saturday night.
Super friendly ambiance with dining at family tables. The house-made cocktails are delicious and well thought out. The meal starts with complimentary fresh-baked bread with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and herbs.
The menu is simple and compact but filled with great options. I will make this standard when I'm back in Grand County.

This was the best meal i had in Colorado, possibly this year. The authentic antique building and great vibes immediately set this place apart. The food was absolutely amazing. Best tomatoe bisque i have ever had. The street tacos were also excellent. The interesting house cocktails were equally as impressive. We ended up having to try almost all of them. The friendly and efficient staff kept the food and drinks coming all night,.
This place really made our stop in hot sulfer springs and is easily worth the drive down from grand lake or granby if you are near by. Don't miss it!

The wait staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was truly delicious.
I had the salmon, a ginger beer cocktail, and the Toffee Bundt cake to follow it up.
Everything was phenomenal. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem, if you’re in the area.

This was a wonderful dining experience in a tiny town without many options for a gourmet meal. Cocktails were on point and great desserts too. Owners are welcoming and friendly and take pride in their food and service.

We loved having dinner @ Dean Public House. Sat on the outdoor patio and enjoyed the evening along with drinks and a great dinner. The owner & his girlfriend were so nice & friendly. Don't miss this historic rustic restaurant.
A hidden gem. Best food we've had so far on our Colorado bike trip. Great cocktails, great hosts, but the food was really good.
