Pickaxe Pizza in Idaho Springs is absolutely amazing! Travis, the bartender, is fantastic—super friendly and attentive. Bruce, the owner, is incredibly hospitable and always goes the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of. The atmosphere is welcoming, and they truly make you feel at home. And the pizza? Hands down the best in Colorado! This place deserves all five stars. Highly recommend stopping by!

I’ve always adored this restaurant! Great vibe and amazing pizza too. Came here one last time before I move states away and Travis gave us wonderful service. It made for a nice goodbye to my favorite pizza place.

Pizza was pretty good but service was by far worse I've ever experienced. Food took forever and items forgotten and saw server out taking a smoke break twice in the time we were there. Restaurant wasn't even busy and he couldn't bother to check on us every so often. We are all former Restaurant people and know when bad service is because server is in the weeds. This was just bad service. Will not go here again.

I don't know what the pizza tastes like there, actually, I regretted not taking it, because what we ordered was so-so. The fries are terrible, the bun in the burger tasteless. However, the decor itself is nice, in a western atmosphere. Staff polite.

I love the theme!! It's a cozy place in downtown Idaho Springs with a cozy mining theme. The people helping us were very kind and helpful. I am so thankful to have gone here with my partner. Also... They have really cool bathroom sinks!! They're barrels!! Really cool. Really good pizza too!!
