What a weird experience. Hostess told us there was a 15 minute wait for food area despite it being visibly empty then told us we can sit in the back, order food and it’s a “kid friendly area”. Only caveat is we have to order our own food and drinks from the bar. We take her up on it and sit in the back. When I went to order food and drinks the bartender is difficult to get a hold of and communicate with despite it being pretty empty. I had to communicate my order 3-4 times for him to understand me and then he informs me that they can only serve “to go” for the back. We’re already committed so we go for it anyway.

Food comes out quickly, but they literally refused to give us plates. We ordered nachos and for some reason we can’t have a damn plate in order to assembly the nachos from the 5 separate to go containers it comes in. To top it all off, the food was bland and overpriced ($60+ for 2
small apps and 3 beers). Good beers, but this place is overly expensive, bad service and generally a miss.

Additional note: I tried to order a kombucha for my 3.5yr old as it was listed as 0% alcohol. Luckily I double checked with the bartender who informed me that it does have alcohol despite being listed as 0%.

This whole city is pretty cool. They blocked downtown Main Street during the summertime and you could go shopping and walk. Lots of food restaurants on the street.

We came here due to the reviews, and it was very worthwhile.
It was not very crowded for Saturday afternoon. Many tables open and is still a 20 minute wait. Don’t ask me why I figure not enough servers. There’s another restaurant bar adjacent to it that serves the same menu and works out the same kitchen so we went to the bar there and sat. I hate to say I was a little irritated by the hostess attitude, and that was the only negative thing about it. He was a male organ to the people that are checking in with them.

Cauliflower wings were phenomenal and delicious with the Thai sauce with it and the venison burger was delicious. I’m very partial on my coleslaw and the coleslaw was very good here , a creamy coleslaw.

The bartender was pretty good, yeah I’m thinking he’s sick of tourist season and is waiting for tourist. Season to stop.

After waiting 50 minutes at a nearby restaurant and learning we were 19th in line, we decided to check out this restaurant and I am so glad we did! Patrick was our server and he did a phenomenal job. We were starving from waiting so long at the other restaurant. Patrick greeted us quickly, took our orders fast and the food was really good and came out in lightning speed, I couldn’t believe it. He checked in making sure we had everything we needed but not too much to not be a bother. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience, Patrick!

Enjoyed the drinks, definitely a good variety of them. Only got the wings it was a typical bar style serving, very good but didn't try anything else. Staff and environment was good.

Very friendly and attentive bartender. Italian pils was too hoppy, tasted like a watered down IPA. Pork green chili was way too spicy, all I could taste was the heat. Sat at the bar, TV on a walk that you can only see if you’re sitting on the sides of the bar. Otherwise it’s either behind you or blocked by the tap wall. Water glasses are self serve with glasses hanging by plastic pegs inserted in the glasses. Seems like a bad idea from a hygiene perspective. Way overpriced for the quality of the beer and food.

What a great place! I chose the Westbound IPA, which was excellent. Service was fantastic, as were the cauliflower wings. If you're on the west side of Denver, this spot is well worth the short drive!

Beer is not good. Has a sour /bitter after taste the diminates you senses when eating food

We eat here often after hiking. I always enjoy my meal! And the cocktail, beer, and other options are great as well. This is a good restaurant for Idaho Springs
