As of July 2025 the only vegan option is an Impossible burger with no bun. Note that they no longer carry vegan buns and both the cauliflower wings and fried tofu are dredged in egg. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-20

Good Food but very expensive for what it is.

My Local spot - plenty of space and an easy walk home

Waited for 15 minutes for service with two kids and was completely ignored. It wasn't until when we were actively leaving that the waitress even acknowledged us. We walked across the street to Mtn Prime and got immediate service. Go there instead.

Super cool space for after hiking grub. Service was great and food was delicious. They even handled my little one and her needs well and quickly

Food was delicious, highly recommend the bison burger. Service, food and drinks all exceeded expectations and would absolutely go back. It was unknown to us but on Saturdays the street is closed down to traffic and there’s plenty of room outside to sit also. Great place to stop and enjoy a mid-day drink.

Ugh. I really want to like this place- food and beer are good, but the last two times we’ve been to this location the service is rotten. They just always seem understaffed, and the bartenders lack basic hospitality. On our recent visit ( yes they were busy) menus were placed in front of us wordlessly with no greeting, no welcome. Visit prior to that not much better. They’re just not friendly.
Green chile appetizer was good, but served with no tortillas, no chips, nothing- just a soup spoon. Bartender was never coming back to check in so tried flagging the manager down to inquire if this was correct? Manager seemed to be avoiding the guests at any cost, so I gave up and ate some and pushed the rest away.
Hire better people, train your staff, act like you care. It’s what your competition does.

I had an awesome all around visit.
Katsu tofu sandwich had fantastic flavor. I’m not vegetarian but it was awesome and plenty of flavorful food + a side.
Beer was great… I tried the 2023 gold medal Westbound select.

Service by Zach was outstanding. I usually just don’t expect much but his stood out as 10/10. He explained the beers and menu, checked on how the food was, and was attentive despite it getting busy.

Legitimately the best burger I've ever had. Beers are on point, taste super fresh and clean. Very happy customer.

The food has slipped a bit over the years - at least the fried chicken sandwich has. It used to be a phenomenal fried chicken sandwich, now it's just OK. However, the cauliflower wings we had last night were very good. Haven't had the burger and fries in a while but those used to be great - especially the fries. Last time I had the green chili cheese fries and those were excellent.

Great little place in Idaho springs. The Juice caboose was delicious! The bison burger is definitely worth it! The nachos are huge and tasty.

Broccoli cheddar soup from the Willits location yesterday (December 19) gave us food poisoning…. Don’t recommend it and the rest of their food is either too salty or too cold.
