This is one of those magical places that I can't imagine Jamestown without. Cheerful staff, great food, and in the summer on Fridays amazing live music. The Merc is not just a restaurant, it's a third space for the community. The head chef, Rainbow, brings magic to all her dishes with local produce and family favorites. I love the Merc!!!
This is one of the coolest places to hang out in the Rockies. It's a quirky place. The food was good. They have live music over the weekend. It's a little pricey but portions are huge. You can easily split plates. Our party had cinnamon rolls, French Toast and a Burrito. Plenty enough to feed six. You do order at the counter. For the dieters they don't have Diet Coke. They serve Mexican Coca-Cola with real sugar. After the meal take the road on through town. Beautiful...
I love this place. The eclectic decor (20's area hanging fabric lamps, chairs of every style and height, old miner decor, a carved wooden orangutan) all communicate to me- welcome to all and your weirdest self is appreciated.
