Love this family style mountain. My kids and I enjoyed no lines and a learner friendly mini lift as they were getting comfortable ski/boarding. Whether staying a few days or driving up from Denver for the day, A Basin has nice runs and great snow. I definitely recommended hitting the slopes here.

I visited A-Basin last week and the small family friendly resort vibe is gone! I watched a situation unfold where the bar staff kicked out a very drunk couple who was with their child. They then tried to drive and my group had to address the situation. This weekend I find out the mountain plans to charge $20 for parking.

Really enjoyed this smaller ski resort with plenty of intermediate runs. Lodge was nice and service and food was excellent. Fast lifts with no wait. Would definite go again!
