Best breakfast you can get anywhere. Larry is the cat’s meow. Get there early, they fill up at coffee time!

Great little spot. I'm looking for a place to grab some brunch before running an errand and I stumbled here. The atmosphere is off the charts, very busy but staff accommodate me even Im alone. The breakfast special was amazing, service for me was awesome. All in all, it was a good try!

The last time I was in La Junta I googled restaurants in the area and this place popped up with a few others for world-famous green chili. I don't know what the backstory is on that in terms of who conducted the awards and how many restaurants were involved. I would consider this green chili to be above average though and medium to hot in terms of spiciness, but it didn't make me crave it to the point where I was like "I have to have this again".The hash browns, gravy, and french toast were all very generic and are not worth getting. The pancake wasn't bad (a little dry) but I have also had way better pancakes than the ones this place makes. The most unique item I had was the biscuit. It tasted excellent, was very soft, and judging by the appearance of it would guess the kitchen makes them from scratch. I have not had biscuits quite like these ones and would recommend anybody stopping by try them out. I would also request it by itself and not be smothered in gravy.

Great place to have a meal and usually run into someone you know. They really treat every customer like they are serving their own family.

Stay away from the biscuits. A crime against humanity. 7 hours of extreme stomach pain. Or maybe it was the gravy. Nowhere near light and fluffy. But more like bricks of lard and flour.

Great place for breakfast, the chef is an egg expert! He even knows how to make SOFT basted eggs. Pancakes etc are wonderful but I'm afraid I can't say the same about the cinnamon rolls because they are absolutely, amazingly delicious - the best I've ever had and I've had cinnamon rolls all over the country. Kudos! Their wait - staff is efficient, friendly and responsive, but the old man that greets you at the door needs some new jokes. We love to eat here, just get lunch someplace else. (Sorry) I always enjoy the unique decor which is changed just often enough to keep me interested. The lady who makes most of the interesting stuff that they put up is creative and resourceful. Wonderful job!
