“Great friendly service! Brisket and pulled pork just the way we like it and the Venom BBQ sauce is to die for!!!!!! Our go to on the way to and from CO!!! Can’t wait to stop again!”
“We were in La Junta for the weekend. I love Indian food so we decided to try Yak & Yeti. It was amazing! The food was so good. I wish they were in my town because I'd be eating there a lot. The tandoori chicken wings were the best. We also had chicken rogan josh, sweet potato masala, a mango lassi and a chai. It was all delicious. Definitely worth eating there. Some of the best Indian food I've had.”
“Great little spot. I'm looking for a place to grab some brunch before running an errand and I stumbled here. The atmosphere is off the charts, very busy but staff accommodate me even Im alone. The breakfast special was amazing, service for me was awesome. All in all, it was a good try!”
“A little bit of a hole in the wall, but it was clean! We walked in and weren't sure what to do. We learned they don't have table service, so head on to the back to place your order. The staff was all very friendly. We had a salad and a meat lovers pizza. I was hungry and forgot to take a picture of the salad, but it was really fresh and delicious. The pizza was the star of the show. The crust was nice and thin, and the tomato sauce had great flavor! The meats were really good, too. It took probably an hour to get our pizza, so call ahead. Can't wait to watch this place grow and improve.”
“I don't live in la junta but I have a lot of close people I'm my life that do. I have eaten here before and couldn't wait to try it again. I love how cozy the place is and how polite everybody there was. the wonderful smile waitress took care of my to go order quick. the owner was an awesome lady that took her time to greet everyone in the restraunt not just the local normals. When I think of this Place through style of Mexican food it is that of Colorado style . Which I love being a native. You can taste the homemade love in every bite. This style of community makes me want to live here.”
“Great food, almost always spot on staff...HOWEVER, they REALLY need to install wind screens on the doors...they flies are too much. I can't eat there during the warm months.”
“We're in town for the annual tarantula migration Driving around town we noticed several other taco places with empty parking lots in spite of signs indicating they were open. Lucy's parking area was full. We ordered Carnitas Tacos for lunch and enjoyed them so much we returned for dinner. For the second visit we ordered more Carnitas Tacos, a couple Fish Tacos, and Carne Asada Fries. Honestly, there could have been more fish in the fish tacos, but the carnitas tacos and the carne asada fries were amazing! Super delicious and super affordable - we'll definitely be back!”
“The tacos were awesome, with lots of fresh food for the price. The red and green sauces that came with it were a little bland and could use some work, but there was plenty. I wish we had tried one of their desserts. The pictures looked great. The service was good: fast and friendly. The building is a typical fast food spot, but there were cute Mexican decorations throughout. I would stop there again if in town.”
“Not bad for Easter Sunday. Place was pretty full but didn't have to wait more then 10 minutes. I got a big breakfast skillet with pancakes. The syrup was warm and the butter was soft. Pancakes were the best I have had in a long time. Their Pancakes are better then ihop in my opinion. Skillet was better then average. Good eggs and vegetables, sausage tasted wonderful. I thought about getting a piece of pie but the skillet filled me up. Was pretty thirsty and waitress did awesome filling my water glass. If you go you will not be sorry.”
“Great food, clean facility, and service! Have been here twice. First time takeout, second dine in. So many options; I haven't found my favorite. Had mango shrimp tonight! A bit sweet, but delicious. One of my sons had orange shrimp, the other had Kung Pow tofu. No complaints. Can't wait to try more from the menu!”
“Okay, I had the opportunity to share a meal here with My family. The well established local restaurant and it's staff provided a wonderful meal with even better customer service.I recommend this wonderful family owned restaurant. To any family looking too experience a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reminds you of home. While enjoying traditional authentic Mexican food.”
“This little hole in the wall steakhouse will amaze you with their steaks for sure!!! Not to mention the bar ! A very comfortable feel with very personal staff!!! I don't plan on eating anywhere else whenever I am in the area!”
“I would not recommend this place at all. They discriminate against people with disabilities and even kick out a American Veteran with a Service Dog who was in her full service dog vest clearly stating SERVICE.DOG DO NOT PET. This man here does not care about the laws, about people with disabilities in any form. it it's against the law Federally and State to discriminate someone with a service dog. this place does not deserve to be open!”
“Bison burger & cheese burger was tasty. Real fries! Chile relleno was excellent. Margaritas delish! Waitstaff was prompt and kind even though they were extremely busy. Will be back next time we travel via La Junta!”
“I am not an Orange ? ? Chicken type guy. All my experiences from different places the Orange chicken is soggy and soft. I like my chicken fried in rice. I took the chance and ordered Orange chicken and Chicken fried rice w/Chai tea. The Orange chicken was crispy with booming flavor and the Chicken fried rice had the taste that was straight off the grill type of taste. Never tried Chai tea so now I have a new favorite tea drink. Definitely coming back and I am highly recommending to family and friends. The man that runs Asia Cafe is a wonderful person. You can definitely tell this man takes pride in his business. Thank you ?!”
