Best BBQ our family has had. Serve that Isaac provided was excellent. You can’t go wrong with anything you order. My husband and I had 3 meat plater with ribs, pulled pork, & brisket. Our daughter had a pulled pork sandwich with fries. The son had hot dog and fries. Isaac brought us an appetizer of okra and fried pickles. Delicious! The slaw and potato salad was tasty as well. Don’t stop anywhere else in La Junta!

All I can say is Isaac is the real deal! He loves preparing his BBQ and he should. It’s excellent and well worth stopping if you’re driving by, and worth a detour if you’re nearby. This is BBQ that is so soft, juicy and tasty that you’ve never tasted the like.. plus if you’re catering an event they sell in quantity too at great prices. Try it, and tell your friends

We are from Oklahoma where BBQ is a sport. My first job was at a BBQ restaurant, this place was not for me. No smoke flavor to the meat, nacho cheese mac, Heinz baked beans out of the can.

This place has had some ups and downs. It is currently in an upswing, with great brisket. I tried the grilled cheese with brisket and onion rings, and it was really good. Mom enjoyed her pulled pork and curly fries.

Great hole in the wall spot. As is common in good BBQ spots, some meats were unavailable. I believe it was the owner and another worker had an impromptu Cornhole game while we waited. My wife hadn't had a good brisket until stopping here. We'll be sure to look for this place again when we're in the area. Highly recommended if you're in the area. Well worth the stop.
Delicious BBQ! We tried the pulled pork, ribs & brisket—all are tasty! And the portions are more than generous—we will easily have lunch (and maybe another meal) tomorrow! We stayed at the KOA next door, but this place is totally worth a trip from farther away!

Creekside Smokehouse definitely has the best barbecue for miles and may very well be the best restaurant in LaJunta! I live in Denver and I am in town on a work trip and have been disappointed by pretty much every restaurant except for Lucy's tacos. Their ribs are as good as any BBQ joint I've ever eaten at, If you haven't eaten here yet, you should check them out!
