Absolutely terrible food and experience. I would rather spend one hour and drive to Pueblo vs going to this place one more time. Food is bad and when I said to servers my feedback they had no reaction ... Even chips are bad. I had burrito my wife had enchilada and we eat only 10% of the food before leaving this place. Beans looks like they are from the can, and they were able to make guacamole terrible. Absolutely would not recommend it

Yuk! Tried Mexico City for the first time. We all got their special smothered potatoe burrito and bean and potato burrito (smothered with a tiny bit of chili) with Verm and rice. Vermicelli tasted burnt and the burrito was so gross, hardly any chili on it. Dry potatoes. Took two bites and gave to the dogs, they didn’t eat it so tossed it in the trash. Also got some enchiladas and the cheese was burnt through the styrofoam like they microwaved it. It was ok can’t mess up cheese and tortilla. I’ve never disliked a food place so much. So disappointing we were excited to try it. Also they only take cash or check but they have a ATM right next to register so they get extra money for u to pull out cash.

We came through La Junta about a year ago and had a wonderful meal here so this time we decided to return. Everything started out great. The wait staff was attentive and friendly at first but when we got the bill it was not itemized. Also we had to wait a long time to check out. I presented my Mastercard and was then told that they don’t accept credit cards, only cash or checks and there was an ATM on site. Luckily I had the cash. I did not see any sign that said no credit cards and waitstaff did not notify me. I ordered a no. 12 that was recommended by our waiter but can’t remember what they called it. I ordered it with mild sauce but it was too spicy for me and the flavor was mediocre. I won’t be back.

Very disappointing experience! Lacked flavor, queso was Velveeta and rotel. If you didn't know how to cook this is the kind of food you would make for your friends on Cinco de mayo. Margaritas lacked tequila but not in price. Charged for extra chips. No one in their right mind would leave a review above 2 stars. What kind of Mexican restaurant doesn't have beef, Refried beans or Mexican rice?! Went to McDonald's afterwards to get the taste out of my mouth. Do not recommend!

This was by far the worst Mexican food I've ever had. I don't even think it qualifies as Mexican. The chicken tasted like canned chicken with absolutely no seasoning. They serve vermicelli instead of rice. There didn't seem to be any tequila in margaritas. Our server was whoever walked by the table--we had 3 or 4 different ones. They accept cash only, no card or check. Absolutely do not eat at this place.

I enjoyed the chicken flautas, quite tasty. The filling was a bit bland. The chips and salsa were on POINT! Generous portions of sour cream and guacamole. FYI, this is a cash only establishment.
