Staff were friendly and food came quickly. We ordered calzones, that turned out to be a pizza crust with toppings in half and the other half folded over. Crust was scorched and tough, but still raw in the middle ingredients were cold yet.
All three of us agreed that this is the absolute best pizza and cheesebread we have ever had. It was a bit of a wait, but we used the time to walk around and check out the historic sites nearby. Fun little selfie wall inside lol
I came for pizza on my only night in la junta and was blown away by the community I was welcomed to. The pizza was my most economical meal of my trip and it was the best tasting pizza I’ve had in years. I took home one of each cannoli for dessert and wow oh wow. If I died that night I would’ve died happy. Awesome place.
