Delicious food and drinks, amazing atmosphere, cool people, every time I come here they never disappoint, highly recommend to anyone living in or passing through LJ, Midwesterner wrap and caramel frappe makes for a perfect start to the morning.
Pretty good breakfast burrito. I wished they didn't cut it in half though, all the insides come out & falls apart in the foil, makes it hard to eat as handheld, kinda defeating the convenience of the burrito.
"The Barista" is a local La Junta staple. It's one of the longest-standing restaurants in LJ and the longest-standing coffee shop. The food is always simple but well-prepared, and a surprising highlight; because the espresso drinks are decidedly average.The sandwiches and wide variety of specials are definitely worth a stop.
