My wife and I have been to this restaurant in the past. However, this time not so good, I had the New York strip, it was a little gristly, when the waitress asked me, how was my food? I said a little gristly, she said, I'll let them know when the owner/manager asked me how was my food? I said, a little grisly, she gave me the same blow me off attitude. My wife got the white fish with shrimp and vegetables. again. Not very good if we wanted Walmart food. We would have went to our freezer and not paid twice the amount. They did not even take the time to clean the tops of the condiment bottles dried condiment around the edges. Why ask me if everything is okay if you're not going to do anything about it. We will not be going back.
P.S. No the comments about these poor reviews from management is telling, don't you think.

I hate to leave bad reviews, and I am a pretty easy person to please but I feel compelled to share feedback. We stayed at the Hampton and walked over for dinner; the steakhouse is in a convenient location. The place looks dreary, but we are okay with that, we are from a small town and understand how small town restaurants can go with decor. The salads were tiny and only iceberg lettuce, 3 slices of cucumber and a few cherry tomatoes with what looked like expired and cheap salad dressing. The fries looked like Ore Ida crinkle fries you get from Safeway; still those things are not the biggest issue if you have a good steak. But the steak was rubbery and tough. I had a sirloin and my boyfriend had a ribeye. His ribeye was worse than mine but both were awful; he said he thought his tasted like it was dunked in canola oil before cooking, it left a weird aftertaste and the texture was funky. Also, you can only get a beer or a shot mixed with a soda for alcoholic drinks. It surely did not feel worth the $100 for 2 adults and one child. Bummer.

Don't let this place fool you, the outside may not look like much. But the steak portions are generous, and the prices are very low. Everything was tasty. I have no complaints. If you are staying at the nearby the econolodge, you even get a little bit of a discount.

It was fine. I ordered a rare 12 oz sirloin. Steak came out medium-well. I'm pretty sure the steak was actually a piece of a pot roast that was just cooked like a steak. Mac and cheese is TV dinner quality. It's like Bob Evans straight from the package.

But they're not charging top dollar either. So that's why I say it was fine. I'm not upset about it, but it was only an okay value.

I've lived in the valley for 3 years. This was my first time eating at the Steakhouse. This is also the very first time of my ordering a medium well steak and it being cooked exactly how I wanted it. In all my previous years, I have never been in a restaurant with the exception of 1 other, that knows how to cook a PERFECT medium well steak. It was tender, flavorful and delicious! It was by far one of the best steaks i've ever eaten out at a restaurant. The prices are very reasonable to boot! The only thing I would say they need to improve on is maybe offering some rolls to go with your meal. Other than that, great experience.

Idk what these other reviews are talking about this place was very good! My husband and I got the mozzarella sticks, ribeye, macaroni and cheese and greens beans and they were all delicious especially the ribeye!! Our server was so sweet and was super busy and still served our table well. Thank you so much we will be back!

I loved the service and convience of The Steakhouse! The Waitress was very helpful and friendly and made the visit comfortble and relaxed. It was close to my hotel which was convienient and their is a discount for hotel guests on that street which was an added bonus. The price was a bit high for the quality of steak, however it was a good meal.

I use to rave about the steakhouse until my last visit where I experienced the worst service ever. The waitress was an Indian woman and was very rude. I hadn't realized the prices went up so I only had $100 cash. When I realized I was up charged for a salad (which wasn't the issue.) I was a little upset because I like to tip well and wasn't going to be able to even tip 15%, so I brought it up to her when I went to cash out.(For her benefit)Mind you I have my daughter and niece with me. This woman was so upset she had the nerve and lack of decency to cuss in front of my kids due to her manager taking too long to come to the front . (I'm assuming). The food was decent this time but the baked potatoes were overcooked and the peeling in which I enjoy eating was not edible in my opinion, but I was hungry and didn't complain.until I went to pay and kindly. I'm just really in awe as to how she treated us throughout our visit and how unsatisfied I felt after leaving The steakhouse. Whoever the white lady was that waitressed there before was absolutely splendid. I will not be visiting the steakhouse again if the indian lady is waitressing. I can tolerate a overcooked potatoe, but I will not tolerate poor customer service. The food is delicious tho when it's not overcooked.. steaks ate to die for... I'd suggest if u choose to eat there to dine out.

The worst experience ever, ordered shrimp cocktail, did not get the order. When mentioned got some kind of shrimp on ice with store bought cocktail sauce. Ordered sirloin with baked potatoes and kabob skewer with rice. Advertised drinks but had none (alcohol). When food did arrived no baked potatoes, steak tasted like garbage and broccoli was from a frozen bag not fresh. Rice was anything but tasty. Did not get charged for shrimp but should not have had to pay for any of the food. I won't ever go back!

Little hole in the wall restraunt, don't be fooled by the outside of the building. They did a darn good job fixing us up with some good grub. We came thru a week ago and had such a good experience we stopped back by on our way home. Not to mention we was a group of 20. And they had had no problem accommodating us last minute.
Btw order the sampler!!
Its definitely a bang for your buck!
