We drove extra out of the way for the experience and we're very disappointed. This is a bar with bar food.
Burgers and fried appetizers. Nothing on tab. No fountain drinks, no Indian food, not a brewery. Very limited menu. Food tasted like it was fried and old oil. server was pleasant though.

My meal was quite good. I ordered Fish & Chips. I'd rate it a 9. The fries were so crispy and flavorful. I appreciate the attention to detail, and the staff were very friendly. Yak and Yeti are at the top of my list for local eateries.

Is this place not open anymore??? Went for dinner and no one was there!! Very annoying
Definitely not Indian cuisine. It's a lack luster American/Mexican restaurant. Habenro wings were sweet like candy and the lemon pepper wings...the lemon pepper wings were an inedible salt bomb. Men's restroom was disgusting. Do not recommend. Server was nice.

Sad it's not the indian place anymore. They had such good food. It was the only one in the area. They will be missed.
I asked for medium well on my burger, and got exactly that. Didn't think I was gonna finish all that food but it was really good and couldn't help but to chow it down! Great service!

Waited and waited, never got a menu, was asked to seat ourselves then waited for 15 minutes. . .
Not sure what the issues was but it wasn't busy. Only maybe 7 people in the whole place. Maybe I'll try it again. Will update the review if I do but eating out is expensive and going to someplace where you are expected to tip and then waiting around longer than it would take to make our entire order isn't a good first impression.
Fairly nice, clean looking place and with all the high reviews I expect my experience was an anomaly so I will give 3 stats but if I go back I will update this.

The entire menu is American cuisine (which is fine, but not at all what was advertised). The food was good overall, and the portions were generous. The service was poor, and the environment was a bit stale.

Restaurantji Recommends
Came here expecting Indian/Nepalese food, and instead found a Mexican/American menu.
Regardless, it was good. Very small-town-y restaurant with super helpful staff, cheap beer ($3), and absolute top notch food.
We good chicken fingers and the green chile burger. Green chile was exceptional, and the burger was perfectly done. Fries were great. Would go back in a heartbeat next time I’m in la junta.
Parking: Effectively unlimited parking
Kid-friendliness: There were tons of kids, so being yours

I can't really speak for the food because we didn't eat. We thought this was an Indian restaurant and when we got the menu it was bar food. I asked the server about it and she said it hasn't been Indian for 6 months. But the sign outside still says it is. So we left
