Great staff, cooks, service and food!! I e showed up 5 minutes before they were due to close and they gladly served us! After getting down the mountain and back into La Veta we needed food, and the Legends burger with cheese, all the fixings and flash fried red potatoes was exactly what our bodies needed! Accompanied with a cold Blue Moon and an Iced Chai Black Tea, our stomachs were full and we were happy! We’ll be back!!

Food was way over priced and was not good. 40 dollars for biscuits and gravy 1 egg and bacon plus eggs Benedict was told the hollandaise sauce was house made it absolutely was from a package. Didn't finish either meal.

Restaurant and coffee shop. I don't do coffee so can't speak to it but the food is very good. Focus is on Southwest American style (Green Chile Stew has a nice kick)but they have specials that run the gamut to German. Food gives a home cooked vibe and so far everything has been good to great. Small inside eating area with larger outside seating area. Some dedicated parking with roadside for remainder.

This is now our go-to when in town. You talk about management that wants happy customers!!! I'm not easily impressed, but the food, the interaction. Can't recommend this place enough!!!

Nice place but we just came in for coffee and the guy at the counter seemed upset that we weren’t getting food. We were thinking of moving here but reconsidered after dealing with him. Seems like the town is in survival mode. Also, a coffee was $6.50.

Awesome cafe and coffee shop!! The food was really fantastic and the presentation was more like a fancy restaurant in every detail!
We will defy one back when traveling through La Veta!

Great place to eat after a long day of hiking. The bourbon apple pie was for sure the highlight of the meal! Next time I’m in town, will definitely be back.

The Green Chile Stew was amazing. My wife never eats the full meal, yesterday she did; no to go box needed! I highly recommend this place.

Food great. Prices are outrageous. Two breakfast entrees, two glasses of iced tea, one piece of cake…$60.

Order at the counter and your meal is brought to you English pub style. Delicious and novel blended smooth cold chipotle pecan soup on a hot day! Spicy? Yes! We also had green chili beef stew. Out of this world.

Our first time at Legends On Main! Took a day trip on our motorcycle from Eagle Nest, NM and decided to stop. Glad we did! Legends on Main has it all - nice clean environment, friendly staff & service, great food, good music not too loud, and a clean/nice smelling bathroom!!! We had the stacked enchiladas and scraped our plates clean! They serve a yummy piece of seasoned toast to help with that. To top it off, e couldn’t help ourselves, shared a piece of chocolate cake - holy moly 😋 😋 😋 We will be back - well worth the road time.
