We had a great meal with wonderful conversation at Lou's Diner! The owners are so friendly, and the food was awesome. We had a Smash Burger, and also Huevos Rancheros. Very reasonably priced!

I am reviewing this restaurant again because it’s amazing now. Presentation quality of food above and beyond. Atmosphere warming inviting limited, but hoping they will be able to expand outside during the next season. The food was amazing presentation pleasant visually. The only Slightly negative thing I have to say is that the language barrier being that I wanted all my eggs done well done and they’re all done properly beautifully done for somebody who wanted them over easy.. Looking forward to my next visit

Ordered the smothered burrito. Sooo good and enough for two meals. Now if they just brought back the tacos they were making when they first opened i would probably be in there damn near every day 😉

For a delicious treat try the speciality juices ~unusual mixtures and flavors, not overly sweet. Ive never been disappointed by the food (large servings) or the service!!

Wow! This is hands down the best place in La Veta. And one of the best breakfasts we've had in Colorado. I had their special - Bagette & Prosciutto Poached Eggs - flavorful and colorful, artfully placed on the plate. Truly a five star meal. He had the biscuit and gravy -superb sausage gravy and house made biscuit and sourdough bread. We are looking forward to trying lunch later on. Thanks for being here.

Wow! Best dining experience I have had in awhile! The hollandaise was perfection! A five-star breakfast! Oh and the pumpkin cheescake stuffed French toast was the bomb! We will definitely be back
