Updated to Respond to Restaurant: This was on Sunday, September 29th around 7 PM at night. I was bummed because I had stood there looking at the menu thinking about how badly I wanted those brussels and how convenient it was to have a nicely rated place right next door.

The food is fantastic!! Best food in La veta. We had the meatballs, Cesar salad and pasta and everything was perfect. Dacia was so informative, professional and friendly which made our experience that much better. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I made a late reservation for our anniversary. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. The food was like nothing we had ever experienced - in the best way! We had the Burrata plate, Cesar salad, duck breast and steak - everything we ate was delicious. The executive chef even came to our table and answered some questions we had about how the food was prepared…. We try and come to this area every year around this time and can not wait to eat here again!!

This is, hands down, the best restaurant in the state!!! The ribeye was the best I have ever had, and our girls loved the pasta!!! Jillian was friendly, knowledgeable, and an overall incredible server and we cannot wait to go back!!! 10/10!!!

Go figure, who would guess that a great Italian restaurant lives in LaVeta? Excellent shrimp scampi and zucchini zaffrano. Chef really knows what he is doing. Prices reasonable for high end dining. Beautiful enclosed courtyard. Happy hour 4-6pm. Highly recommend!

This is a gem in La Veta, CO. Jillian, our server, was fabulous. The meal was memorable. This is not your typical Italian restaurant. We had the special appetizer of burrata, yellow watermelon locally grown, arugula, peppadew and warm honey. Delicious ? Then risotto and chicken parm with two sauces. So good. Be sure to dine here if you're in the area. Thank you again, Jillian, for making it extra enjoyable.

We stayed at hotel and tried to make reservations, but by even staff was abnormally busy that night. Due to nice weather,we were able to do courtyard dining. Staff communication and service was little of an issue, but I gave them a pass due to excessive busyness and they stepped up when it mattered in the end and were courteous and professional. The appetizers were tasty but presentation showed hurriedly assembled. Otherwise , the drinks, entrees, and, desserts were good and priced well and presented fine. A great little gem in a mostly rural part of Colorado. I can see why so busy and popular and hope the restaurant and hotel receive continued support .

One of the best restaurants in the world. We have gone there a couple of times, and never skip out on the bruschetta and walnut pesto. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. Our waiter, Dacia, was so sweet and willing to answer all of our questions about the menu and more! Already looking forward to our next dine in!
