Just ordered take out the last week of July 2020 and got the pulled pork and baked beans for my family. We are from KC and know our BBQ and this was phenomenal!! Also, not expensive. Would highly recommend!!

Delightful place! I showed up at the tale end of the Sunday brunch buffet. The selection was pretty good, including salad (I chose the yummy miso dressing), fresh veggies, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fresh omelettes or scrambled eggs with tons of fixins, pancakes, quiche, a dessert bar and more. The servers were so sweet and the chef was kind and attentive. Would definitely stop back in if I'm ever in the neighborhood.

We were spending a few days camping at Monument Lake when, one sad evening, we failed to catch enough fish for supper. "Let's go out to eat," said my husband (who, I suspect, was also getting tired of building campfires.) Google Maps recommended Timbers as a near option, and the reviews were mouthwatering, so off we cruised. Upon entrance, my first thought was oh no, I have a bit too much fish bait smeared on my hoodie to be in a place like this! But to Timbers' credit, no one turned up their noses; instead we were very well taken care of. And the food justified all expectations. Sometime I hope to return and eat another elk burger! (But I will probably try to be a little more presentable next time.)

The taste of my entrée was exquisite! I highly recommend the beef tenderloin smothered in creamy crab sauce!

All I can say is WOW! The food was amazing. Rustic setting. Beef tenderloin was about as tender as I've ever had. The mushrooms were amazing. Bread pudding some of the best. Great off the beaten path fine dining. As an added bonus we got to see a bear in the road on our way back down the mountain. Definitely recommend to anyone.
