Great food and an excellent mezcal selection. Our bartender helped me find two great ones to sample. This place is hopping on Friday night, with good reason. Plan ahead with a reservation or try to get a bar seat! It's worth it.

This was a fun place, all the way around. It is in downtown Lafayette and is such a cute area. The food was great, and our server was so helpful. We also stopped next door to grab chocolate after dinner. Highly recommend!

Me and my group of friends, which are African were in the area and wanted to try a restaurant out while we was out in this area sat and waited for over an hour, which we watched and seen people who just walk up gets set before us with bigger groups We got there at seven then get sit down till 8:45 PM the place close at 9:00 PM. They did not get our order, right Which, because they was rushing to close

Super busy for a Thursday night, long wait for a table and long wait for service after being seated. Staff was pleasant. Margaritas were good. Tacos were amazing, though they sat under heat lamps til the plates were molten.

Sports-bar atmosphere ruins Teocalli. Loud, abrupt, and the servers wear no aprons so it's like a random guy off the street taking your order.Not a date-night spot. Turn down the TVs!

Love the tacos here, but the atmosphere is crazy loud and the tables are crowded together quite close. I would be okay with this but the prices are just a little higher than I would expect as well. So with those two things, we don't frequent this place as often as we normally would a really good restaurant. But if you are willing to deal with those couple little things, and want some fantastic tacos, check them out!!!
