My partner and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner this evening and we got a steak and mushroom and a blueberry pie. They were absolutely delicious, the pastry blew our minds it was light and honestly perfect. I would recommend this place to anybody. Hands-down the best food we’ve had in a long time and a great person running it.
New Zealand-style pies! Never been here before. Originally was headed for Chocolaterie Stam which was a few doors down. I hadn't had breakfast yet and tried this place out with my partner. Max who was working there was most excellent giving information on where the pies are made as well as a little history of what he knew about New Zealand. I sampled my first New Zealand pie from their catering trailer at a cars and coffee event. It was a revelation. After tasting the pie crust, the average burrito tastes like it’s wrapped in a piece of photocopy paper. I tried the steak and cheese. It was very satisfying. If you’re looking for an alternative to the mundane Egg McMuffin, sandwich burger or burrito, this is the way to go.
