All food is very good but the star is that Green Chile. You will not find any better. The Breakfast Burritos are to die for. Long lines every morning attest to that. We've can't get over to CO like we used too so we miss it terribly. I wish they still shipped!
all of there food and is delicious and the chilli is fantastic .But the one thing that I think is awfull is that they charge you $4.00 dollars per breakfast burrito if you dont get the one that is the meat of the day. I could handle a little upcharge but not more than the burrito I think that is just awful other than that its great.
Wow, everything was delicious, we are just as stuffed as the stuffed sopapillas. Nice big portions, the potatoes inside were cooked perfectly. Taco shells that didn’t fall apart when picking it up. We really love this location and will be going back for sure! The service was fast, the staff were very friendly, and the food was hot! Well done Lafayette Santiago’s location!

Santiago's Mexican Restaurant is a well-known spot for those craving authentic Colorado flavors, particularly their renowned green chili. The breakfast burritos, often filled with green chili and meat, are a popular choice. The restaurant is known for its generous portions and bold flavors, with food served in bags filled with aluminum foil-wrapped goodness. However, some dishes, like the Indian Taco with beef and beans, may be less flavorful. The service is generally quick and friendly, though vegetarians or vegans should be aware that options may be limited.
Customers have raved about the restaurant's food for over 20 years, with the best green chile around, available in both hot and mild varieties. The Carnitas burrito is a standout, and the hard tacos and stuffed soppapillas are also favorites. While some customers have found the green chili to be too spicy for their liking, the restaurant has been praised for offering a truly mild version that still captures the authentic Mexican flavors.
The vegetarian options, such as the rellenos smothered in enchilada sauce, have also received positive reviews, though customers should note that the mild and hot sauces contain pork. Overall, Santiago's Mexican Restaurant continues to be a beloved destination for those seeking a taste of Colorado's vibrant culinary scene.
