5280 Burger Bar

I wanted to love this place so much. My husband hyped up the tuna burger for days before we finally could go. I tried ordering off of uber eats and lo and behold they were actually closed. The next day we tried to go in person when it said they were open... bam! They were closed. The third day of my husband saying it was fantastic we finally got to eat here. Except... his tuna was really, really overcooked and dry. It heavily disappointed him and as I questioned whether my 1/2 and 1/2 would be good.... well... unfortunately the one sub I asked for , raw red onion instead of fried, it was also a swing and a miss. The poor bartender was serving every table while we were there. I felt bad for him. If we could've had the burgers remade we would have asked. For a restaurant my husband store he go to once a week with our semi large family.. it disappointed.Unfortunately, the poor bartender was busy with other tables. One of the kids drinks were incorrect as well. We'd give a glowing review based off of the other experience, but this experience left a bad taste in our mouths. Give them a try but don't get your hopes up..just in case they're having an "off day".

Drove to Colorado Mills Mall from highlands ranch to use a gift card. It was closed up! No signs, no explanation! Napkins, menus, it looked good to go but no such luck (do you really need luck at 6:00 pm on a Tuesday at a mall restaurant?)My advice, don’t go or call to see if they are operating. Disappointed for sure!

The burger was fantastic. I always love a burger that is bigger than the bun. The fries were delicious. My waitress was too slow, never offered me a second sprite.

I went in at 2:30 pm not busy but the food still took very long to arrive. I ordered a burger with only lettuce and tomato. I got a cheese burger when I said 3 times no cheese. They also added pickle when I made it clear I only wanted lettuce and tomato. They gave me the food and I checked it and said how it had cheese and I didn’t want any. She walked backed and in 3 minutes with the same burger and just scraped off the cheese can’t believe I paid 50 dollars for them to not even fix the mistake. I could or literally of scraped it off myself if I knew they were gonna do that lol. Listening is such and important skill and that my host was lacking

I enjoyed the drinks and our waiter was extremely helpful, attentive and pleasant. Most of us in my party had the wings and none of us liked them. It was disappointing that the wings lacked flavor.

Gosh dang, this place is so good! Sam waited on me, & the service here is always solid. I devour the food whenever I come. I got the Durango burger ? with a fried egg. ? The shakes are also phenomenal. I get the chocolate or cookies & cream. So darn delicious!!!

Fries are supposed to come with a burger, not be an extra charge. The burgers are good but I hate burger places that bait you with the price to only charge you extra for fries. Fries are a plate filler, not an extra luxury.

Everything was so good I forgot to take pictures. ? this was our first time here and probably not the last.Our server yesterday was the best we had in MONTHS. Take note guys, he is one of a kind. He was attentive to his job like a server is supposed to be. (Also had like 3 tabels, still no excuse to be lazy. He was the opposite!)Just the kitchen needs to change the fryer oil more often. Our fries and my burger was very soggy and tasted like dirty oil. Maybe next time it would be 100% good. This round I'm at a 90% out of 100 on satisfaction.Still worth stopping by.We ate with dietary restrictions and was able to get food here with no push back. (Vegetarian and vegan welcome)

Vegetarian options: The flafale burger was amazing if you like Mediterranean with falafel and Taziki. Just a bit greasy.

Dietary restrictions: They offer a full gluten-free side of the menu. For my husband he got a "vegan" burger. Said he was allergic to pork. He got the impossible burger as his meat substitute.

Parking: It's a mall so there is many parking spot around all of the main building. 5280 is near target and regal.

Kid-friendliness: Atleast 6 kid friendly food items on the menu. Pretty decent.

Love that they serve a quality bar burger without the crazy cost. Many options. Burgers come without fries but that’s ok with me. You can buy separate for not much extra. Appetizers we had were Queso fries, they were excellent. Fried pickles as well crispy and served with ranch.Friendly staff! Guac Burger was so good.
