I've been a 5280 Burger Bar fan for a long time, so it hurts to have to give them two stars, but it's only fair to whoever reads this. I've been to this location only a few times and won't be back for a while. 16th Street and Westminster are still on my restaurant rotation, though, which is great because the cheeseburger eggrolls are worth the drive. When done right, the food is 5/5; however, I had an experience a few days ago that forced me to drop the rating. I ordered their special burger, The Black and Blue, exactly as it was, with no changes. When it came out, it was missing the bacon. It took a couple of minutes before I could point it out, and then it was 15 minutes more before I got the bacon. At that point, the temperature had cooled down and ruined the experience. Now, not getting the bacon at first isn't that big of a deal. It's a rotating special, and things happen. What knocked off the three stars was the lack of care. There was no offer to remake the burger, and there was seemingly no concern about the error at all. A dozen different things could have been done to fix it, but it was more of a this is just how it is. I will go back in the future, but it will be a long time.

I went in at 2:30 pm not busy but the food still took very long to arrive. I ordered a burger with only lettuce and tomato. I got a cheese burger when I said 3 times no cheese. They also added pickle when I made it clear I only wanted lettuce and tomato. They gave me the food and I checked it and said how it had cheese and I didn’t want any. She walked backed and in 3 minutes with the same burger and just scraped off the cheese can’t believe I paid 50 dollars for them to not even fix the mistake. I could or literally of scraped it off myself if I knew they were gonna do that lol. Listening is such and important skill and that my host was lacking

I enjoyed the drinks and our waiter was extremely helpful, attentive and pleasant. Most of us in my party had the wings and none of us liked them. It was disappointing that the wings lacked flavor.

Gosh dang, this place is so good! Sam waited on me, & the service here is always solid. I devour the food whenever I come. I got the Durango burger ? with a fried egg. ? The shakes are also phenomenal. I get the chocolate or cookies & cream. So darn delicious!!!

Fries are supposed to come with a burger, not be an extra charge. The burgers are good but I hate burger places that bait you with the price to only charge you extra for fries. Fries are a plate filler, not an extra luxury.

(Vegetarian and vegan welcome)Vegetarian options: The flafale burger was amazing if you like Mediterranean with falafel and Taziki. Just a bit greasy.Dietary restrictions: They offer a full gluten-free side of the menu. For my husband he got a "vegan" burger. Said he was allergic to pork. He got the impossible burger as his meat substitute.Parking: It's a mall so there is many parking spot around all of the main building. 5280 is near target and regal.Kid-friendliness: Atleast 6 kid friendly food items on the menu. Pretty decent.

Love that they serve a quality bar burger without the crazy cost. Many options. Burgers come without fries but that’s ok with me. You can buy separate for not much extra. Appetizers we had were Queso fries, they were excellent. Fried pickles as well crispy and served with ranch.Friendly staff! Guac Burger was so good. My son had the ultimate and my kids a cheeseburger kids meal(which includes good size burger with fries or fruit and a drink). Everything was fantastic. The service, the ambiance and the food! Staff frequently checked in on us, were kind and attentive. We ordered a kids burger (it comes with a drink and fries) and a regular cheeseburger with truffle fries. The burgers were juicy and filling, my daughter couldn't even finish her burger. The fries were fresh and perfectly seasoned. The space is large and sound was well dispersed making it a great place to talk. Excellent job 5280 Burger Bar we will be back!Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu that offered various options to choose from. The space is open with multiple booths.

The experience was good, mainly due to my fiancé being there with me. Otherwise it was an underwhelming experience!Ambiance upon arrival was a typical sporty/burger joint. We started out with the alcoholic milkshake drinks. They were actually really good! We had the burger egg rolls for an appetizer. I would give it a 5 out of 10. The beef was very under seasoned. Definitely something I could make better at home. We then got the Mac and cheese burger, which was good besides the understand beef. I would give it 7 out of 10. In addition to that we got the mushroom burger. That was also fairly good, heavy on the blue cheese, I would also give that 7 out of 10. My favorite was the hot honey chicken! It was really good, however I'm a condiment person so I would've preferred mayo on it instead of just plain. It just made it a drier eating experience. 8 out of 10 for me.Queso fries were a 9 out of 10! I definitely recommend those! Service was okay. Kinda seemed like our waiter was just indifferent. It was an okay experience but I don't think I'll be back. If you are a burger fan, it could be worth the trip for you!

Came in on 12/17/2023 at 5pm.At first this was going to be a decent review... Until I ended up in the hospital for food poisoning. Not going to lie, the burger, the Wagyu, was a good burger. But it dont matter how good it is if you get food poisoning from it.The reason the atmosphere gets 1 star is because the staff felt that because I had kids, that we needed to put in the back, BACK, room, as to not bother other guests.. When the whole front dining room was basically empty. Everyone that came in with kids, got shuffled back to the back dining room. Everyone that came in with no kids, front dining room.Leah our waitress actually did good, and I cant blame her for the other things that happened.Kid-friendliness: Not Kid Friendly!
