4/14/2024 , after working hard all day, I decided to treat myself to a glass a wine and a deligious dinner. Your website menu looked so good! Halibut and salmon. YUUUMMMM. I was "ungreeted" by two girls and a guy. They stood there and looked at me. Then the girl, in the green dress, looked me straight in my eye, and said "What do you want?" An oil change ! ! I would like to eat ! She responded, " Well, do you have a takeout or you want to be seated? I can't read your mind Girl." GIRL !!!!! I am a senior citizen and this is how you talk to me !?!WOW. I have had bad service before but I believe this the first time I've ever been disrespected at the front door. Because I was hungry and looking forward to that glass of wine and dinner, I decided to stay. But then halibut and salmon were no longer offered. Please please please keep your website updated. I settled for the chicken, mashed potatoes and broccolini. Then the fact that you add an additional 20% to my bill . . . Where is the incentive for your wait staff to provide the best service they can ? I was a waitress in my day. Paid $1.20 an hour. We relied on our tips to make any money. And we all contributed, on our own, 10-20% to our dishwashers, busboys and cooks. I'm just one person so I'm pretty sure you won't care if I ever come back for dinner.

CAUTION ON THE BILL!!! I figured this would have been removed since the minimum wage even for tipping positions has gone up dramatically over the last few years. They still mandate a 20% tip, regardless of the quality of service (which was just ok) or products. This is way too high with a minimum wage being at ~$15 an hour and tip wage is being ~$13 an hour. This should be dropped down or better yet eliminated as I’m sure and I do know that people still provide additional tips not knowing that the 20% was added to the bill. The food was good however I thought my rigatoni was overly salty. The bread was great but the dipping sauce was horrible. Not sure what was in it, but it was extremely garlicky and very salty and look more like a paste as opposed to dipping sauce.

The food was great! Atmosphere pretty decent as well. We had spaghetti and the fettuccine pablano, both were delicious. However, we won't be back due to their required/automatic 20% tip and slow service. We were there in the afternoon and it was relatively quiet. We waited quite a while to order drinks and food, and the drinks were slow to arrive (beer and wine). The food did arrive quickly. After dropping off the food, our waiter never returned until we were finished eating. Then we again had to wait to get the bill. The slow service wouldn't have been enough to make me leave a bad review, but then when the bill did come, we noticed there was an automatic required 20% added "to pay their staff a living wage". A standard tip line was also available on top of this. Based on other reviews, it sounds like there's a small note on the menu about this, but it was a frustrating surprise to us after a somewhat poor experience in general.Just go somewhere else to eat, many other restaurants with clear pricing and great food/service!

We just tried to get a table and had to waited 15 minutes because they said they had one server. The hostess then said would you like to sit in the back and we asked not to be seated in the corner and she had no other options. Very disappointed with the hostess and service.

A hyper local Italian restaurant, that sources within the state of Colorado as much as possible. We came to Fire and Vine for a paired dinner and it was fantastic!

It was my first visit and this restaurant is quite charming. It is beautifully appointed and evokes a warm feeling. The food was terrific -- I tried what everyone at my table ordered! My only gripe is that our server wasn't very attentive. It wasn't overly busy and I get annoyed when I have to wait to ask for a refill. If you're looking for an off-the-beaten-path great place to eat and chill, give them a try!

What a beautiful place, and how lucky my family was to come in on a Tuesday evening. Hannah, you were the best server we’ve ever had. Wishing nothing but the best for you and the restaurant as a whole.

Great food and staff, but don't charge a 20% tip then say that that charge gives your servers a living wage. It's not a living wage if you're still charging your customers a tip.
