Over time, Whole Foods in general has become ever more a opportunistic exercise in greenwashing, with more processed junk being marketed as "healthy" and sold for premium prices, and little actual emphasis on whole foods. This particular location has a relatively small selection of organic, whole plant-based foods if you look for them. Reading labels is a good idea since the company can't be trusted to look after your health.
The upside is longer opening hours than most of the better grocery stores, so it's useful for early mornings or late evenings.

Was no coffee at 4pm. I came for that! They nicely says that only on the morning. But…shouldn’t it be mentioned online?

It was hit or miss at checkout. 1 out of 4 shopping visits was excellent. The other 3 lacked knowledge and manners. Aisles are cramped and difficult to shop.

It seems like every time I go this Whole Foods has fewer and fewer vegan options... Thankfully the sandwich station is open again and you are still able to get a TTLA (although those are pretty pricey). Otherwise, it's very hit or miss. Sometimes they have fishless filets, sometimes vegan pizza options, sometimes vegan cookies & croissants... but not often. Even the vegan grocery items have been cut down. Disappointing.

My husband is an essential worker putting in 60 hours/week and I'm on temporary layoff due to COVID. To break up the monotony of being at home all the time and because we don't get to see each other much right now, we've made it a new tradition to meet at Whole Foods or a takeout spot when he gets off work around 7:30pm and eat in one of our cars in the parking lot while we talk and watch the sunset. It has been a nice tradition, however, today was the second time we were harassed by your security guard. The first time they told us we couldn't "loiter" but he went away when we showed him we were eating food we had just bought. Today, the security guard demanded to know what we were doing there and kept asking if we needed a tow truck.???? Was this a veiled threat to have one of cars towed if we didn't leave right away? Anyway, I guess we'll have to start going somewhere else.

All of the pastries here are vegan and absolutely delicious! I ate TWO cherry danishes when I visited. NO SHAME. Go hungry and eat all the pastries.

Every year we visit Golden for skiing, we have been going to this Whole Foods. Well, this is the last year. The tuna salad was dripping with grease. They used to make quality wraps but now they are mediocre at best. The staff are rude and argumentative. One of your Eastern Indian clerks was especially curt to me. We have noticed such a drop in the quality of all Whole Foods. I am done with this market. There are so many better choices, with staff that actually appreciate our business. The next day we tried a local deli that made delicious wraps, great salad bars, and other items to go along that were complimentary.

I guess I'm spoiled having frequented the Boulder store so many times, but this store seems to always be out of items I want. The help isn't as easy to find either.
