This is HANDS DOWN the best Italian beef sandwich I have ever had in my life. I used to eat Chicago Italian beef from Al’s and Portillo’s, etc very often for years. Amazing business, extremely funny and friendly service. Shout out to Carmine.

This place is so good, and the staff is so friendly! We drive almost 45 minutes to get there. The sausages are incredible, and the sausage sandwich is the best I've ever had. We haven't tried much on the menu yet because we are fairly new to Lonardo's. My girlfriend loves the muffaletta. We want to try more deserts, but the lemon berry cake is so good we can't seem to order anything else.
