We looked so forward to coming here and the green chili was wonderful. The staff was engaging and so nice. We also had the sopapillas which were the perfect ending. Can’t wait to come back!

Great meal here at this kind of shy location. Located in strip mall setting off Wads at 20th, with several local shops and a couple other restaurants. This seemed to be the only place hopping, and rightly so. Good choices on the menu, from traditional Tex-Mex to some creative specials. I had the chicken Milanese which was great. Good side dishes, plenty of food and served by very friendly waitstaff with great senses of humor. Definitely try this place!

We discovered Chapala’s about six months ago and have eaten there more times than I can count!! Food, service(friendliest staff ever), and Margs are as good as it gets. Truly a hidden gem💙
