My last review was 2 years ago, I ordered the chicken tacos and I was happy, but the next time I ordered it was not the same. I haven't ordered anything since then because it's not good anymore. On top of that my husband orders the same burrito at least 2 times a week and he is never happy because it's always missing something, either the onions or chili, or cheese, always missing something, this week He ordered his regular beef burrito with onions cheese and chilli, now how hard is that, but they gave him a burrito with only beef, so this time we took it back, we got their and the man accused us of wanting free food, even though we had the product and the receipt. And then he gave us a new burrito but guess what, it was still wrong. He also said that people were being the food back lately saying it was made wrong. It's not fair that we as customers have to beware of who's cooking and who's working that day to make sure the food is as it should be and not what the cook of the day want it to be, follow the recipe, it's not that hard, Chili Shack Owners need to get it together before you lose it. The Lakewood location needs supervising, owners need to do some mystery shopping because on a daily basis the food is bad. I don't order anything anymore. Won't even try it. I miss the original Chili Shach

OLD FRIES IS THE MAIN INGREDIENT....At $11.43 those need fresh fried EVERYTIME! Cilantro, onion & lime are pretty standard condiments at the price...
(wish I would have read recent reviews....the fries suck 🤬 at that price 🍟... That was an expensive lesson for a first time customer)
The chili is good not great. (I think it needs pork and habanero but it's not just a bunch of hamburger grease...it's GOOD CHILI)

👉IF ID HAVE GOTTEN GREEN CHILI AND CHICHARON FOR $7 😃....then went to Burger King, McDonald's, Wendy's, some place that does fries 🍟......"I wouldn't have a $15 plate of trash"......not satisfying, I feel like I got ripped off......COMMON COMMENT 👈
All my coworkers were telling it was the bomb...I saw the big advertisement on the window....I expected Bubba Chinos 💚 green chili cheese fries w/ chicharon
First and last time eating chili shack 💔....maybe par cook them and fry them before assembling....or use an air fryer..... something is going really bad, take down the ad on the window, I'm never coming back 😞

Very bad experience, very bad service and you pay one for the Food and they don't deliver things like They are I do not recommend it, pay one for a cervio but hedges I think that they are not very interested in mine experience

The green chilli is very bland I am a native Coloraden of 43 years and know what good green chilli is supposed to taste like and this is not it.

Everything I have tried here has been bomb!!! The Birria tacos are off the chain! Chili cheese fries so good spicy but not too spicy! Grilled tacos are awesome too and the breakfast burritos. My kids and I are there like once a week I swear lol. Affordable too! They are always friendly and fast. Parking isn't great just because there's not a ton of room and there's a bar next door that takes it all up. I will continue to be a regular, they've recently opened another one off Broadway by my work and they are just as good!!!
