This is a staple for our family. Our girls love the chicken teriyaki from the kids menu and of course they always share an edamame app. My husband and I always get 2-3 rolls and it’s plenty. The sushi rolls here are always on point!

Hana Matsuri was a fun sushi bar with a great atmosphere. The food was a bit overpriced but everything was made with care. As a person who loves mushrooms, miso soup had some unpleasant mushrooms that felt undercooked. We also ordered pickup from the wrong store and they were very generous in getting that order cancelled without issue!

We come to this restaurant regularly, as in every few weeks and I've had rude service here before but always out up for it for their decent (I woudnt say incredible) food... But after tonight, I have to ask .. WHAT is up with the front of house service and WHY hasn't it been addressed? Tonight, the service we received was best described as BAFFLINGLY bad. Does the ownership read the reviews?
We were greeted by our usual guy who acts like he's doing you some big favor by seating you. I've actually gotten used to this guy and expected that but when our waitress did not even come to our table while we watched a table come in after is already have appetizers...itcwas undeniable.She apologized but it proceeded to get worse and worse. I dint even know what to say
Would the owner please do something about this? It's really an embarrassment to your restaurant and your back of house seems to work quite hard.

Chef Duy is the truth! Hana Matsuri is now tied for our favorite restaurant in Denver. We did the omakase with him last month and it was one of the best dates my wife and I have been on. Unquestionably the best fish I've had and so many unique fish we'd never heard of. All of them stood out from the others and it was impossible to pick a favorite. Seemed like each one was better than the last. To be clear we didn't do the big Tuna carving omakase - which looks really fun - but the regular omakase. I'm sure the tuna night is awesome but it was great to go when the chef has unfettered options for what they want to prepare. We got lucky and the people next to us cancelled which gave us more one on one time with Chef Duy and the staff. We sat at the edge of the bar by the kitchen too and everything coming out looked amazing so we plan to return for dinner to try the regular menu. We will absolutely be back with guests for the omakase again too! Thanks for the awesome experience Chef Duy!

The sushi here is TOP NOTCH. Even the Philly roll was the best Philly roll I’ve ever had. Would recommend the big daddy and the summer truffle rolls - thank me later.

I ordered online and came in to pick up, but I would love to dine in. The atmosphere is dark, but cozy. Salmon was incredibly fresh, and gyoza were yummy.
