Hits the Spot Diner is a good place for great tasting diner fare. The place could use a face lift... it's looking kind of old and sad, but the food is spot on. I had the chicken fried steak skillet. Gravy and plenty of it covering two eggs, the aforementioned steak and home fries, all excellent. My other half had French toast, also very good!!The service was good, not great... but definitely friendly. They are always busy, with a wait time for peak hours... but if you want good food, you're willing to wait!!

We came here for a Saturday breakfast, and wait wasn’t too long. About 20 mins. Food came out as fast as we ordered it. Everything was delicious for a Saturday breakfast. Make sure to get here somewhat early in the morning if you want a parking spot, it’s a small parking lot so be prepared to park somewhere else or wait it out.

Sooo I used to go here ALL the time BUT I guess that it is true when you go out to eat it is all about the COOK!!! And the cook is horrible. The food is burnt, salty and old. The tables are going to collapse. I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!!!!! ?
