This little neighborhood, mini strip mall, Mexican restaurant is a treasure. We just bought a house in the area and once we discovered it we have been eating there regularly (wife and I are real fans of homecooked Mexican food). Rosie (a sweetheart) does the cooking and, on some days waits tables, too. The first time I went I had Chile Verde with beans, followed on succeeding visits by the smothered bean burrito, then the small combination plate (beef taco, bean tostada, and smothered...
Small, unassuming, family owed and operated. My kids first foods where eaten here. It has been here for a long time 30+ years. The refried beans and guac are my absolute favorites.
My late husband and myself with our two kids had been going to Las Cazuelas when the parents ran the restaurant. Loved it then over 50 years ago. We moved to Florida 22 years ago. When I can go back to Denver I go LC Still the best Mexican food.
