Had the fried fish appetizer that had great spice with a perfect green chutney (cilantro mint?) to take the edge off.
Also had the lamb vindaloo (spicy as advertised - had a kick but was not overpowering) and the butter chicken was on point. Alongside some garlic naan and some cheese naan - this was comfort food at its best! Had enough to take home some leftovers, too.
This is the same couple (Meena and her husband) who ran Mini India's restaurant in Westminster before it moved - and it was well worth it to track them down again.
They had one of the larger menus I've seen then, but serve a slightly smaller one here (their chicken tikka masala is fantastic, and though I didn't get that this visit, it is always a favorite to get people to try - particularly if they are new to Indian food).
Don't let the small space or limited tables scare you off from trying this gem (take it to go if you have a picky date that stands far too much on ambiance). For those who let the quality of the food impress more than the decor, you'll gain serious points for knowing about this hole-in-the-wall place where the food speaks for itself - before everyone else does.

Walked in as I was at a neighboring business and was starving. It’s a very unassuming place, there was just one guy back in the kitchen, he came out to greet me and take my order. I ordered a vegetable biryani to go and sat in the simple seating area - just a few tables and chairs, with a lot of their restaurant supplies stacked around.
The food was amazing. I ate some of it in the car on the way home and was very excited to dive into the rest when I got home. Will definitely eat there again and try some other vegetarian dishes.

Don't listen to the negative reviews. I've eaten here a few times in the food is fantastic. The samosas are incredible and the chicken tikka masala is my go-to. Very nice people.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE... We ordered the butter chicken, a onion salad, and the Indian pickle. The onion salad came as just a chopped up onion. No cucumbers, no tomatoes, no jalapenos no nothing. And for $6 the butter chicken had good flavor but there was only like five pieces of chicken in the whole thing and then the pickle. I don't know what it is but there's lime peels in it and a couple chopped up pieces of pickle and it is salty as hell and looks like dog puke do not eat here. It's a joke. Oh and when I went back to complain about it about getting an onion for $6 the dude gave me $6 and told me don't come back and I promise you I will never step foot in that place again.. God I wish Maria's was back in that spot!!!

this place is amazing. My girlfriend had never tried Indian food before and we went here and it did not disappoint. the staff is amazing and has given us free rice or a free treat every time. we love this place and hope it gets kore business as it deserves!

So far everything we've tried has been fantastic. We especially love the chicken tikka masala (and we're quite picky). The garlic naan is outstanding-- some of the best we've ever tried. The food is always very fresh, the staff are super friendly and fast. It seems like more of a take-out restaurant than dine-in, which is perfect for us.
Authentic and delicious, an excellent home cooked tasting meal. Will be adding to our rotation!
