Well, my previous vist to an RR was terrible, and in my review i stated it would be a very long time before I would consider ever going back. I ended up near one & decided to give them another chance. They redeemed themselves this time. They resumed putting 4 pieces of fish instead of only 3, though shrinkflation still played a part in the sizes. It was cooked correctly this time and service was prompt. The server was cheerful and accommodating. I will be more open to going back in the future. I was disappointed to find they no longer serve their great clam chowder.

They do a great job with the lettuce wrap on their burgers. A little cold for a warm day though, they adjusted the temp immediately after we asked.

Service is really friendly. However the food was incredibly greasy. Our burger patties were so greasy that the bottom bun turned into a liquid, and the droplets of fat initially seemed like sauce until the first bite. We're not picky or sensitive, but we really found this hard to eat, and our stomachs were clearly in shock from the amount of fat.

I don't know if it's just this store or all of them but the burger just wasn't very good.

Poor Service!!
Took 3 to 5 minutes to even be greeted upon sitting. After ordering, drink did come immediately. Sat for awhile and finished my drink and then sat for roughly 5 to 7 minutes. Waitresss never returned. SOMEONE from the BAR noticed my drink being empty and refilled it after seeing me sit there for awhile.
Waitress came back a few minutes after that.
I ordered food and enjoyed my time... then nothing.
I was left alone for 10 to 15 minutes. No drink refill. No check in. The same guy from the bar checked on me and not my waitress.
Eventually my waitress returned and asked if I wanted anything else. Asked for a drink and fries.. and then seemingly forgot about me. Saw her walking around taking other orders.
Once again the random person from the bar got me a refill and more fries.

Shout out to the guy behind the bar, did more then my actual waitress.

RR has really gone down hill. Used to work at one back in 2009. We don’t have any where we live, so today (10/27) we thought we’d try it for nostalgia sake while in town. This review is less about this individual restaurant or visit and more about the downfall of this once great chain.

Onion rings were pretty good. I got the A1 burger which I remembered as one of my favorites, it was a sloppy salty mess. Nowhere near as good as it used to be. Wife got chicken tenders (clucks), they were bad stadium quality tendies. She actually said she’s had better tendies at a stadium. I know RR used to actually have really good chicken tenders. The fries have also gone downhill in quality significantly.

Service was friendly enough but nothing special. I feel like there used to be a rule that servers were supposed to greet you and get waters within like 60-90 seconds after seating. It was a good 5 minutes. But it didn’t seem like the servers fault and I don’t care that much. More so seemed like the status quo of giving a bleep has changed. I will note the server was very friendly the 3 times she interacted with us. Now they have tablets on the table so obviously RR is trying to cut costs everywhere (especially food quality). We didn’t even get a check dropped at the table, just paid on the stupid tablet. Server never thanked us for our business and her 20% tip.

Hostess was friendly and said thank you on our way out. She also was very pleasant when seating us. She gets 5* for her job.

Will not be visiting a Red Robin again. Sad this solid chain died with the times. If they’re still publicly traded I will be shorting the stock.

Pizza over done, paper thin crust, not Donato's. Sweet potato fries overdone like always, eating sticks & twigs. Salmon portion 2×2. Ridiculous portions. What a waste of your paycheck!!!!

Sat at the bar for 10 minutes: no greeting, no service. We left and will never return.

Update: went to BJ’s next door and had a wonderful time; staff was attentive, food was great. 100% recommend skipping Red Robin and going to BJ’s
