Way over priced. Food ok. Ordered rib eye steak and got a slice of meat cut from a roast. Won't be back
There is a wonderful view of the city from almost every table. Probably one of the best steak fillets that I've ever had. The service was very efficient, friendly, and personable. We really liked our waiter! I would recommend it for a special dining experience.
Service always excellent. The view is always excellent. My husbands sea bass was very good. I got one of the specials, petite sirloin steak and lobster. The lobster was very good. The steak was so very tough. Was very disappointed. Usually the steaks are so tender and delicious.
Got a booth for a private birthday and Christmas celebration. Great espresso martinis and light fare
No bread was served. Obviously they forgot us. Not professional servers today, its like they brought in staff for Christmas day. 2 sides were already run out at 4pm. As were the specials of the day too. Spinach wasn't even luke warm. Finally checked back , had to ask to remove side item from ticket. Finally filled our empty water glass. Never came to take drink order, when we said not now but later, very poor not attentive service tonight, not paying attention to details. Yes it was Christmas day, maybe try not taking that many reservations if un prepared to give quality service, to tables, and kitchen as well. Texas roadhouse would have tasted better, at half the price. Attentive service, hot fresh food from texas !
Our food was great once waiter sent my nephew prime rib back as came out over cooked Rest of orders were wonderful. Waiter was very attentive and friendly.
The wine list is poor and up charged way too much. The salmon was fair and the filet minions were raw with no sear when it should have been medium rare. It was Christmas Eve so we expected it to be busy, but I think the server was stressed and curt.
The best view in the denver area. And the interior space is warm and inviting. The food is out of this world.
It was a special occasion as our daughter who lives in California was visiting us. The meal was excellent and All enjoyed it.
Experience was overall ok! Our server was attentive - bonus points here. The food was just ok and I felt like the price was high for the quality.

Simms always delivers a wonderful experience. The service, food and drinks are exceptional and the atmosphere is perfect for a quiet conversation or an energetic group of friends for happy hour. Who can beat those views of the city?!!
The brunch spread offered a wide variety of options and represented an excellent value. Went back for more and more. Delicious!
The view from Simms Steakhouse is undeniably beautiful — it's the highlight of the experience and sets high expectations for the evening. Unfortunately, the service and overall dining experience don't measure up to the premium price point. For a restaurant positioned as upscale, the attention to detail, attentiveness of staff, and overall atmosphere felt lacking. While the setting is impressive, the service left me feeling disappointed. At this price level, you expect seamless hospitality and a memorable experience, but instead it felt ordinary and at times inattentive. The disconnect between the stunning view and the underwhelming service makes the evening feel less special than it should. In short: come for the view, but don't expect the level of service or overall experience that the cost suggests.
Our server JP was outstanding! He made out birthday celebrations wonderful. The food was delicious.
previous experiences have been fabulous. this time not so much. our waitress was not very attentive and kept letting us know she was going to handle other tables first and then would skip us anyway to go do other tasks. she also told us completely different choices for our drinks than what we received. the crab cake was good but the steaks were average, not hot when they arrived, and the accompanying sauce was cold. the scalloped potatoes had big chunks of potatoes along with very thick slices which is typically not how they have been previously. the mashed potato side was good. even with a reservation we had for several weeks, we were still seated directly next to the stairs on the upper level even with open tables right next to the window or on the lower level. the constant traffic of staff going right by as well as the area next to us frequently being used as a staging area definitely took away from the ambience. the attire of the other guests was strange from ripped jeans and dirty tshirts to a gentleman wearing a Nike hoodie and then having on a see through T-shirt and a tank top when he finally removed it. definitely felt more like a Texas Roadhouse than an upscale steakhouse, unfortunately. disappointing overall. might give it another chance as it was so good before but will probably look elsewhere for a special anniversary dinner experience next time.
