Being allergic to eggs, breakfast out is often an adventure of special requests to waitstaff to discuss with cooks ending with me getting nothing close to what I wanted. Not at S/S. The waitress patiently listened to me and communicated it to the cook, as I received a special request that was a bull’s eye.
We ate breakfast here while on vacation and it was great. I loved the way the diner felt unchanged and authentic, which was precisely why we chose it. Our host was very funny. He kept giving us random facts throughout our dining experience and cracking us up.
