wouldn’t recommend going here if you’re trans! i showed up in a pretty obviously femme outift and paid with my card so they could’ve seen my name, but somehow still got misgendered by the two women working…? very frustrating. maybe just don’t use gender specific pronouns if you don’t know?? the coffee and burrito my friend and i ordered were fine- not bad, not amazing. i ordered a miel, which wasn’t on the menu (so i’ll give them that), but then they wanted me to tell them all the proportions for the drink. definitely expected more from a 5 star rated shop! i was just passing through denver so i won’t be going back here, but wanted to share this experience for other’s sake because the 5 star rating is just confusing/misleading.

Tea with Tae brings much needed local flavor to the 16th Street Mall. Their boxed teas make elegant gifts, and the canned teas are perfect for pairing with lunches from nearby food kiosks. A must-see!

I have been to this charming shop several times. I bought a tea bento box for my sister (a big hit!). I have enjoyed delicious chai lattes and green teas. Great ambiance and delightful staff. Will be back soon…and often!

I love earl gray tea. And the one created at Tea with Tae is absolutely amazing! I also order the genmaicha. I haven't been a huge fan of that kind of tea because it is very... particular. But this... I don't even know how to describe it, it was honestly just so delicious, warm, inviting, toasty and overall a great tasting tea. The whole process of ordering with Tae was great! Fast and super easy. Honestly, I'm really happy they have a pickup location because it's super close to me and I don't have to pay extra for shipping. Plus the people were super nice and understanding when I needed to change my pick-up time. Will definitely be ordering again very soon!

Convenient location right on the corner of California and 16th. Specialty seasonal drinks on menu by counter. I got Vampires Blood which was a matcha latte with strawberry syrup. It was delicious. The people in there are always friendly. I think in the afternoon they offer specials on drink and the food. There pastries are picture perfect. They have a good amount a seating as well as tea set gifts with descriptions of different tea and it’s origins. This place is a really nice place to stop in for a delicious beverage and snack.
My wife and I happened to find this spot one early morning on 16th street We went in for tea and left with a bento box and tea set. The tea was the BEST I have ever had (I don’t drink coffee so tea is my elevated experience) and we now have a new downtown Denver tea spot. Go to this place and enjoy the experience and don’t leave without some extra goodies/gifts to take home. WELL, WELL WORTH IT. THANKS Tae!!

Love Tea with Tae! We took our littles here over the weekend and they had great drinks and snacks for everyone. The maple matcha was delicious, and our kids enjoyed the (caffeine free) iced & hot teas with a hot pretzel.We also love the tea Bento boxes- both for ourselves and gifts.You all are such a wonderful addition to the community- hope you’re around for a very long time!(Side note- there’s a paid lot right across the street for easy parking!)Vegetarian options: Oat milk and non dairy milksKid-friendliness: Lots of caffeine free teas and snacks

If you are in the heart of downtown Denver and have a craving for amazing tea, matcha, coffee, this is definitely a location to check out. From the variety of unique teas from around the world, to the pastries that are to die for, it is a wonderful atmosphere compared to the loud city around you.My recommendations is to try their Matcha Lemonade!! I had one and now I am hooked on Matcha!!!
