Freshest fish local-family owned retailer west of Downtown - worth the 30 minute drive from my home. In addition to loads of fresh never frozen (big difference in taste) fish and shellfish, the store has loads of frozen options. Frequent purchasers include retail clients and personal chefs, so you know the quality is top notch. The store-made Spanikopita and store made clam chowder are two favorites, as well as many many canned seafood options from Spain. The canned baby octopus and scallops in tomato sauce are out of this world. Very clean well maintained shop, the back areas are scrubbed frequently and it shows. Plenty of meat and charcuterie options as well.

Drake was very responsive and helpful, when I ordered 100 oysters for an oyster roast last fall. They came in the day before the event and out of 100, only 5 were dead on arrival. Everyone loved the event andI’ll be coming back next year. Thanks.

Tom’s is a prize of a retailer in the Front Range. I grew up within earshot of the ocean; grew up fishing, and have friends who are commercial fisherman, and own oyster farms. I’m picky about my seafood, and Tom’s is the ONLY place I’ll get seafood in Colorado. Everything is as fresh as can be, the selection (ever rotating depending on season) is always good, and they have some hard to find items on the shelf and cooler (bottarga for example). Apos and his staff do a great job.

Hosts and collaborates in routine pop-ups out front with talented bakers like Moon Raccoon and Odell’s.3. Provides everything from cold smoked hamachi to locally made sauces and seasonings, to homemade chowder, to hilarious, corny Instagram videos that educate you on fishmongering and fresh products they have daily.Lakewood is so lucky to have this one of kind spot!
