Not sure how this place has such high reviews. As someone who went to the original Torchy’s in Austin this was an absolute miscarriage of the original vision. Ordered the Wrangler and this was just pitiful (see picture). The mashed tater tots.. where are the crispy potatoes? The half portion of basic brisket.. where is the quality beef? The diablo sauce wasn’t Diabolic at all… The egg even tasted basic.
Ugh Denver, get some flavor..

Ordered a phone order and picked it up right when it was ready and it was all cold. The democrat tacos seemed to have frozen cojito cheese it was really gross and basically were tacos out of a fridge not heated. Not sure what happened but for 41$ it was absolutely the worst thing I ever paid for in a pick up order. Also the fajitas were 7$ each and EXTREMELY skimped on toppings

I actually love Torchy’s but man is it hit or miss at this location when ordering delivery. I order very frequently and something as simple as a chicken quesadilla comes inconsistent constantly. Sometimes the lettuce, avocado and sour cream are missing or the produce is brown. On multiple occasions the chicken is missing leaving me just a cheese tortilla. The worst is how many times the queso and chips come without the chips?! I really hope this review will help management take some time with training the expo to double check the ordered before sealing. I’ve even gotten a receipt with black check marks and still missing items?

Lots of Gluten-free options. The staff is easy to work with & very nice. The food is fabulous! They have a rewards program which is great too.

I had a really great bowl - the blackened chicken and mango was a tasty, savory combination!

Ultimately unimpressed. Service has always been subpar. Tacos are decent, but experience is better elsewhere. For national taco day today, they offered a BOGO, but only for 1 taco, and you had to order online from a rewards account. Both the website and the app would not function to allow me to order, and the staff refused to honor or help in any way. So, I mean, all in all, I can have a better experience somewhere else. Cafe Rio has the best customer experience I have seen at a restaurant, and they have great food pleasant staff, better pricing, nicer atmosphere, so if you’ve read this far, maybe try going there instead tonight.

The food portions at this specific locations happy hour compared to the Broadway locations were minimal and drastically different in a negative way. Street tacos lacked topping, the taquitos that state (4) are really 2 cut in half. Our bartender at this location greeted us and then left for multiple minutes without giving waters or menus. Then returned, dropped menus and left again for another long period of time. Then took our orders, which included cocktails, and then left again for multiple minutes before she started making the house margaritas. Sat at end of bar chatting with coworkers and did not return until she said her shift was over and dropped our bill off without asking if we needed anything else. Both the food and the bartender experience were poor and underwhelming at this location. Will not be back.

The frozen margarita was amazing I took a drink with my pops for his birthday the day before and on that day was my mother's death day so I took one for her too

My boyfriend and I came here since it opened, and have always had a great experience. Until we ordered delivery then the quality and customer service went all the way down. They forgot food when we spent over 70 for delivery, and they made it like they hated their job and the customers. Then we were told to reach out to the store and someone answered who could not speak English. I asked for a manager and he proceeded to hang up on me. When I tried to call back there was no answer. Very disappointed for this experience with Torchy's.

We've tried Torchy's three times now for takeout. The Fajita plate is pretty good, but the fish tacos and shrimp tacos are disappointing. I just finished 2 shrimp tacos that came without the cabbage slaw, and the piece of lime included was too small to get more than 2-3 drops of lime juice. So it was just 5 (pretty good) shrimp, some cotija cheese, a slice of avocado ($.50), and pickled onions. That was it. No cabbage. (I opted not to include cilantro.) The salmon tacos last time weren't that great either, as the salmon was overdone and dry. Torchy's is easily accessible off of Alameda Ave with plenty of parking, but unfortunately, we're not planning to order again.
