We visited Rose Cottage a few times during our weekend in Castleton...we kept going back as the good is sooo good!! The tomato & lentil masala soup is probably the nicest soup I've ever had and we had a delicious bakewell cake with coffee today. Lots of vegan options, lovely staff and dog friendly...highly recommend.
We visited the bistro last night with friends for the ‘festive menu’- wow!
Fantastic food that people need to know about- the chef produced a wonderful meal but sadly people keep going to the old favourite pubs & not trying the new restaurants in Castleton. Please check it out & give it a go!!
We came here as a group of 18 hungry hiking ladies for breakfast. Rose Cottage was the perfect place to host a group our size and they offered a buffet style breakfast just for us which worked perfectly for our group including providing options to meet dietary needs. The food was so tasty and excellent quality! The staff were so attentive and couldn't help us anymore. highly recommend :)
