ambiance was cute and cozy, vibes were bustly, and staff were friendly. Gift shop was cute and fun to browse as well. My main gripe was with the Vietnamese coffee — maybe they used Vietnamese roasted beans? But overall it tasted like a regular latte more than anything. Very thin, not really getting the robusta I usually taste, and had a distinct taste of milk instead of condensed milk. My partner got a savory pastry that was supposed to be heated up but was pretty cool in the middle. Taste of the breakfast pastry was great though! Was told the price of the breakfast burrito increased because of the price of egg and so was expecting a very eggy breakfast burrito, but it was much much more potato than anything. Overall, happy to support a local coffee shop and wish them the best!

Love their coffee, but it's gotten so expensive. It's been my daily brew for years but I'm looking elsewhere now for a new blend that costs less.
Couple of photos added hope owner can see.. working around food can’t have hair flying around. Love the coffee.

Had a cappuccino and was very disappointed. It was burnt coffee with foam… this is far from a real cappuccino, could only had a couple of sips.
Haven’t had this happen in most places where they sell pour over coffee supplies
Staff was nice but they’re not professional baristas

Unfortunately not what it used to be.
And service is unfriendly, just got sent out the door because they wouldn't break a $50 on a $25 bag of coffee

Coffee and food are terribly mid, and they stink up the neighborhood with the smell of burnt beans every week. You could get better tasting coffee at starbucks…and that’s saying something. HARD pass.
RE: What I have said above still stands, regardless of the experience had today with my dog or the owners response to my review. I’ve brought him in multiple times and never had an issue, and when the owner came to “gently” (snidely) let me know the laws of Colorado, and tell me I was making “his young baristas uncomfortable” with the presence of my dog, it made me uncomfortable. Also never once did I say anything out of the ordinary to your employees, so don’t make me out to be an aggressor, who was making people uncomfortable in your establishment. I had multiple other patrons saying hi to my dog and being friendly. I have no problem being “corrected it public” as an adult (lol you thought you ate with that), I think you don’t know how to speak to a customer in an uncomfortable situation, and need to take out your frustrations somewhere else, Eric. Like I said when I left, happy holiday and I won’t be returning. 😘

When I had visited, I noticed employees were overly warm with only box fans behind the counter cooling them. Another customer had noticed the warmth and asked if the a/c was broken. Apparently it wasn't. I ended up leaving and not getting anything.

Great location! Easy to meet with people, or just get a drink to go, this place offers not just traditional and unique beverages, but also has bulk tea, coffee and spices along with high quality retail for personal use.
They have non dairy drinks available but sadly no foods.
Dietary restrictions: They offer alternative milks, but only in beverage not in food.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to the sidewalk and easy maneuverability in the shop itself.

I'll always support a local family owned coffee shop over any of those other coffee chains. This is my favorite coffee spot in the area, and they have a second location inside St Anthony hospital. Great selection of teas and spices, if coffee isn't your thing.

Everytime I've been to Village Roasters, I've had a wonderful experience. Their house roasted beans make for some excellent espresso, and their pastries and burritos are fantastic. If you like sweet and buttery baked goods, I highly suggest the s'mores cruffin.
