That was one damned fine steak
Amazing food with such beautiful original flavor that I know is the best meal my wife I've had this year and we live in Houston TX (the land of restaurants). The residents of Lamar CO have a 5 Star meal at their beckon call, I'm a little jelly I must admit. We were lucky enough to have Carlos J (restaurant General Manager) , serve us today and he is such a polite and gracious professional. We will no doubt return when we next past through on our way to the Rocky Mountains.

We had a large group and we arrived 10 minutes before they closed and yes they were still friendly and provided good service and excellent food.
I have to tell you for a small town they got some great food I don't know who their chef is but for a small town this menu rocks
What a pleasant surprise! Great food, great service from a scratch kitchen! Highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing experience!
The steak was incredibly delicious – perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The cheesy potatoes served in a small skillet were outstanding, definitely a must-try!
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the person who recommended the wine was extremely professional — their choice was spot on and complemented the meal perfectly.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was really cool and made the whole evening even more enjoyable.
Highly recommend this place!
Stopped by on our way home from Denver. Remembering the ole' Cow Palace. Tammy our waitress shared her favorites when we asked - delightful and so helpful in sharing about the entrees. We shared an appetizer and meal because she said the portions were large. We had the pork nachos (loaded with goodness and handmade chips). Then topped it off with the chicken fried steak (Chicken Fry Mountain). Best chicken fry I've had in years! Ample cream gravy and perfect amount of really good French fries. Steak was so tender you didn't need a knife. Then Tammy recommended dessert which we had the triple cheesecake and cream brule (which rivaled Ritz Carlton). Best dining experience in the quaint atrium. Wonderful ending to our road trip! Highly recommend!
Stopped on the way home from a long vacation on a whim and my god Best nachos I’ve ever had and the tater tots were more than solid. Steak was tender and cooked properly and burger was seasoned extremely well. We had cheesecake for desert and it was also pretty good. My only complaint is that I don’t live closer cause DAMN that was good for a spurt of the moment stop and eat situation
Excellent food and service!!
The food here is excellent! I always order the poppers – they’re one of my favorites. The chicken Alfredo is also fantastic. This is an excellent place for families to enjoy a meal together. Highly recommend!

Stopped on the way to Dallas from Denver for lunch. I would have called you a liar if you would have told me how good this place was that is in the middle of nowhere. Stop here if you’re hungry. Serving local beef and you can tell.

Extremely strange room, like a high school gym or airplane hangar, with a row of sad looking tropical plants “defining the space”, but the butternut squash enchiladas were 100% worth it. Full bar (I just didn’t feel like drinking).
Vegetarian options: Not vegan but could ask for no cheese
