The food here is excellent! I always order the poppers – they’re one of my favorites. The chicken Alfredo is also fantastic. This is an excellent place for families to enjoy a meal together. Highly recommend!

Stopped on the way to Dallas from Denver for lunch. I would have called you a liar if you would have told me how good this place was that is in the middle of nowhere. Stop here if you’re hungry. Serving local beef and you can tell.

Extremely strange room, like a high school gym or airplane hangar, with a row of sad looking tropical plants “defining the space”, but the butternut squash enchiladas were 100% worth it. Full bar (I just didn’t feel like drinking).

Vegetarian options: Not vegan but could ask for no cheese

We were passing through the area and stopped in for lunch. All the greenery made for a relaxing atmosphere. Service was excellent and the gumbo was delicious. A Moscow mule was the perfect thirst quencher. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Cow Palace Inn for a night when we had a show in Lamar. The staff was super kind and made us a meal to eat after the show past their closing hours. They kept it warm for us as we made our way back to the hotel. The food was phenomenal and was the best meal we’ve had since we’ve been on the road. Bartenders and hosts were super kind and hospitable. Cant recommend this place enough!

In a time where places are serving a smaller amount of food for more money....not this place! The $12 lunch deal is amazing! So delicious!

We were told this was the best place to eat in Lamar. The atmosphere was pretty cool and our server was really nice! Thats where it ends. Water tasted bad, my husband i both ordered the prime rib special. Both had SO MUCH fat on them. The meat was unevenly cooked. My baked potato was hard and not cooked all the way. It was NOT worth the $75 for the food. We still tipped $15.00 but we left our food at the hotel we stayed at. It was so gross!!!!!!!!!!!!!
