Maria is by far the best bartender and waitress! Such a beauty and always has the best customer service. The steak is always made to perfection, and I melt in the mashed potatoes every time I eat them. LOVE, love, love The Max Chophouse. 10/10 recommend every time I've traveled to Lamar.
This place has great choice of dinner options…lots of great steaks and appetizers. My favorite drink is the blueberry margaritas. Nobody in town makes them like the Max…one of a kind!
My wife and I simply had a wonderful evening! Our steaks and the wine, as well as the service were all excellent. Locally owned and operated, The Max Chophouse is a must try! Clay L.
