A fun spot to eat at after a long day at the Renaissance Festival. It's great to wear your costume to because others are dressed up as well. Billiards and large outdoor area.

Great food. Glad we found this place. I’m a French Dip snob and these guys do it right. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. Give ‘em a try.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere. A tad overpriced, paid $28 for a burger fries and a coke after a standard tip. The fries were perfect. The burger was a mess though, too tall to put in your mouth, soggy on bottom, definitely a knife and fork affair which is not what I typically imagine when I order a burger. The patty was overdone too asked for medium well some pink, got well done.

This is my go-to spot whenever I'm in Larkspur! The food is amazing—it may be a little pricier for the area, but honestly, it's in line with comparable places outside of Larkspur. Plus, they have this awesome outdoor space with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the fresh air. At first, I thought it was a bit strange that the outdoor area was empty on such a sunny day. But as soon as we sat at the bar, everything clicked.

The bar is a u-shape, which is ideal. It means you can easily chat with anyone around you without shouting, and the atmosphere is the perfect balance of lively but not overwhelming. It’s one of those places where the energy feels just right. It’s super cozy, definitely has that neighborhood hangout vibe, which I adore.

But here's the best part: even if you're on the shy side or prefer to fly under the radar, you’ll still feel right at home. Just grab a seat at the edge or a quiet table, and you can enjoy the vibe without feeling overwhelmed. But trust me, you'll miss out on the heart and soul of the place—the people!

A huge shoutout to Amanda at the bar. Even though she was super busy with her own tables, she still took the time to smile and check in on us. That kind of attention and warmth is what makes this place stand out. It’s clear that the people here are what really make this spot so special. Honestly, I bet that’s why the outdoor area was quiet—everyone wants to be around the bar!

I really hope you enjoy your time here as much as I did. It's definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to.

Great place, my local hang out. Great selection of food, cold beer and super friendly staff. Definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

Came here to see my cousin and her musician hubby playing that night. Place was packed out and we had to sit with another couple so as to have a seat. It was pleasant enough though. The weather was not kind to have an outdoor venue but we sure enjoyed ourselves. It was a birthday weekend for both my cousin and myself as well as many others! Music started around 6pm so if you come for music be sure to arrive early. We ordered our food and it was good. The only reason we did not leave a 5 star for service was because of the sheer wait and forgetfulness of our server. She was doing the best she could though for having to give birth the next day! Just not enough wait staff I believe. We did have a blast and I even got my hubby to do a little dancing with me. That was a gift in itself as it has been 19 yrs!! Many blessings to all for the remaining of the year!

I’ve been going to the Spur for almost 25 years. It was definitely going downhill until Mindy bought it a couple of years ago. She has turned the food around and completely turned the atmosphere around. The drinks are spot on, the food is hot, tasty and creative, the servers are attentive and seem very happy. Brava, Mindy!

Another wonderful experience at The Spur! We are constantly amazed at the cheerfulness and hustle of the staff whatever the circumstances. The owner and servers are so friendly, attentive and the food is always delicious! Mindy and her crew have done a great job in making The Spur such a favorite place to be, for locals and visitors alike. What a true gem for our community!

Big event on Saturday. The owner took my order. 50 min for an order of fries. She said I have only so many cook tops and kitchen. I ask then why did you plan this event without advance planning. She looked at me with a blank stare and walked away. Rookies they have no clue how to support a business. I paid and tipped strong. The owners are small minded. Don’t book big events stay small.

Mindy and the team do such a great job! The food is amazing, the patio and beer garden are so charming. The upgrades just keep coming! The bar is well stocked, there's pool tables (2), what more could you ask for?!
