I walked into this place with my girlfriend and her parents. The manager. Todd assumed that I was intoxicated once I had a conversation with him. He said he wouldn’t give me any any drinks and then he proceeded to open the door for me and say we can talk out here, I’m extremely disappointed in the quality of the service and the management of this place as a restaurant owner. I cannot believe the disrespect that I faced today today I will never be back here. I am so angry at this. I will make sure to post on my social media not to come back here.

Amazing tequila selection and the food is so delicious! Everything I've had the several times I've been have been really good. Tamales are highly recommended. We always find a seat at the bar and the bartenders are all friendly and very knowledgeable about the tequilas they serve, which are ALL additive free. They've got a decent mezcal selection too. All in all, Palenque has quickly become one of our favorite spots to get Mexican food and tequila!

I’ve been here many times but after this last experience, I’ll certainly reconsider. We joined the waitlist online with a 2 hour wait. We finally got the text saying our table was ready, I responded to the notification immediately & we got to the host stand within 3 minutes. The hostess was extremely aggressive and claimed it had been longer (despite the clear timestamp evidence on the phone). It was very strange because the other hostess seemed to agree with us & even said the table was ready but the blonder girl seemed to be on some weird vendetta against us. We eventually got seated (thanks to the other gal) and luckily things turned around. Our food was great but I will say the staff does seem to struggle with being busy-orders were mixed up, drinks took a while etc. I’m usually not a huge queso fan but Palenques is so good!

My husband and I came in today after the litttleton car show, we sat at the bar, 15$ endless mimosas. ( you cant beat that) plus Anthony the bar tender was very kind and friendly, very good service. Salsa and chips WONDERFUL, food amazing GREAT JOB TO THE KITCHEN STAFF... YUMMY.. always a great experience here.

Very accommodating...many vegan options.. I had the El Lote and Vegan Tamales...very generous and delicious.
Chips, salsa, guac was also very good.
Tough to find good vegan Mexican in Denver, but this is a solid spot.
