Stephanie was on top of it for great drink suggestions at an awesome price! They have the coolest Moonshine drink menu!!! So good!!! Also Derek the head chef makes amazing food! The BBQ sliders and Chicken tacos are my favs. Service is also great! Come check it out! Such a great place finally in this space again!!!
Awesome and perfect in every way. Stephanie was an amazing server! My bloody Mary was absolutely one of the best in the city and my Bronco Burger was cooked and tasted amazing. Awesome place to go for great food, drinks and service. Thanks Dirty Pit, job well done!
I live in walking distance to this place and I was excited to give it a try. Initially I was disappointed in the drink selection as they do not offer anything except colorado drinks. No bud light, no jack Daniel's, none of what you would expect at a bar. It is overpriced as well. We came back a second time because it is new and we wanted to see if we could have a better experience. The meat was very dry. Still no different drink selection. A few weeks later we came back for a third and final visit to all of the same issues. I have seen the owner saying they are working on these things but it is not evident. A new place would be cool but these owners are not in tune with what they are doing wrong.
So first and foremost the food concept, FRESH, LOCAL and prepared specifically by order. This alone supports the cost. Colorado craft beers, moonshine and local whiskey all very refreshing. My food was amazing and the cobbler shine was delicious. I enjoyed my experience very much and will return as well as refer friends and family!
Came in on 4/2/22 at 8pm to eat and listen to the band. Ordered loaded pit fries because they were out of half their menu on a Saturday night. Poor planning. Fries and the pulled pork were cold. Would have been good if it was hot. Drinks took forever. Place wasn't that crowded. Maybe 1/4 full. We had a seat where we could observe the kitchen. It was in chaos. Poor girl working the pass was constantly pulling tickets and shaking at the kitchen staff and they seemed to have no response as the frustration on her face was evident. Staff seem confused. With this crowd an old fashion should not take 20 minutes to come out. The music hall acoustics are not good. The place has promise but they have a lot of issues to work out. I'll give them a few months before another try
Great service. Better food! I used to come here during the previous iteration but the food this time around is on point. I had the Dirty Nachos which were really good. All the different flavors along with the pulled pork really hit. I look forward to seeing what this place has in store!
This place is a great spot!! Their food is amazing, and that’s coming from four different people ordering four different things. They’ve also got a solid beer/bar selection and the staff is super cool. The cherry on top is that almost everything (food, beer, etc.) is locally sourced. As a Colorado native, that’s huge!! Lastly, Alex is the man!!
Newly opened, the place is clean and spacious. Food was tasty and served quickly and was a great temperature. We had an appetizer, taco and burger, all just great. We sat up and the bar and Stefanie and she was attentive, made good suggestions and was friendly. The restaurant only serves alcohol from Colorado. This is a great selection of beer and even whiskey. They are getting another brand of tequila that will provide addition taste options for margaritas. Those were the only options we explored. All in all a nice place to relax and enjoy a good meal, appetizers and drinks. They also have pool tables and a good size patio. I look forward to my next visit. Note that I had more than one drink which increase the cost.
Atmosphere here is welcoming & fun! The bar set up is clean & presented so beautifully. Stefanie the head bartender is always so cheerful and witty. The food here is so tasteful, I love there chili fires
This place is cool. All Colorado beers and liquors. Awesome Colorado whiskey. Burger was excellent and our host Stefanie is one of the best bartenders I have had in a long time. Very helpful and cheerful. Highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to be able to sit outside in nice weather.
Restaurantji Recommends
The food here was fantastic! I didn’t even get to take a picture because I ended up digging in right away. I ordered the deviled eggs for the appetizer and the burgers here are incredible. They have great beers on tap. Our waitress was very attentive and gave us great recommendations. Needless to say we will be returning here in the future! Try it out if you haven’t been, I highly recommend!
I waited to write my review until we came back a few months after our first experience (soft opening) because we knew there were a lot of kinks that they needed to work out. I think they are headed in the right direction..We did not know about the happy hour deal. If I were the owners I would definitely advertise that a lot more because it's a great deal to get people into the door. The service was great until it got a little more busy. We had to go to the bar to grab someone to close us out. No one told us about the lower prices but I heard the waiter tell the people behind us. The pork dirty nachos were delicious. Way better than the first time we had them. Someone by us got the sliders which looked really good! All in all this was a much better experience, friendly people, good food, and the pricing is a lot better Will be back!
Cold Beer and good food, give the Pit a try. We had fried mushrooms and the Colorado Burger and both were fantastic. Elen and Stephanie at the bar will take good care of you, top notch service.
Service was plenty friendly but food was slow to come out of the kitchen. Food is pretty decent but the price to portion/quality is not near justifiable. As somebody who frequents many restaurants in the area, I don't see any reason to chose this place over the myriad of other choices in the area with better value for similar quality (unless for example you like paying 50c to add tomato to a $20 hamburger)
