I have a coworker that told me about this place and I have been looking for a new regular spot for Mexican food since I moved to this area a little over a year ago. Her glowing recommendation was not wrong. The food is amazing and consistently delicious. The staff is very friendly and serve everyone like family. The atmosphere is great with the art on the walls and a great patio. I barely remember to take a picture of the food because I’m just ready to dig in every time I come...
Sadly, COVID killed most of our favorite Mexican joints around town. Our family is happy to call Don Juan's our go to mexican joint. Sure there is "better" around denver and littlleton, but for double or even triple the cost. Also this spot had all your favorites! And they do them well!!!
Delicious food, quick and friendly service, reasonable prices and bright decor will bring us back again! They were playing Mexican music which created a festive atmosphere yet it's quiet enough for normal conversations. Parking is easy. The server was knowledgeable about which items and sauces were gluten-free (the tomatillo sauce is safe but not the green chile.) The tamales are especially yummy. Highly recommended!
