Omg! What a hidden gem this place is. It's definitely a must try. Everything wad delicious!! Also, the manager made us a lemon drop martini that is the bomb!! Super delicious and made by someone who is a true mixologist! We will come again, for sure.

Hands down the Pupusas are delicious! We had the Mixed and the Chorizo-Queso. Think of a stuffed tortilla. We also had the Pollo Guisado. Tender chicken, wonderful rice (not Spanish style which I don't care for), beans and hand made tortillas. We will definitely be back! The staff took their time explaining the menu so we could make the best selection. Definitely yummy!

I ordered a steak popusa with a side of beans and it wasn't good at all, the steak was all grease, the only server did her best but never checked on my food, the only good thing was the Tamales de Elote. This was my 3rd time and I always try other stuff, not good.

I can't say enough about Rolo and El Lucero! As someone from Houston, I'm always on the lookout for authentic Mexican and Salvadoran food, and El Lucero delivered beyond expectations. The homemade salsas were full of flavor, the michelada was hands down the best in town, and the pupusas were simply amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and authentic. If you're craving real Mexican and Salvadoran cuisine, El Lucero is the spot!

A must try if you’re in the area! La comida is authentic, just note they use pinto beans in their recipes (with a Salvadorian flavor) if that makes sense. The service was great and the owner went above and beyond.
