Went in for the brisket arrived a little bit early and noticed they had fresh pork rinds on the menu. They actually came out crackling hot and amazing. The brisket was on point and the service was excellent.... Highly recommend

This has to be the worst bbq I’ve ever had. I got the half rack ribs, wings, and hot link sandwich. The sandwich was ok but everything else was over smoked. It all tasted like the smoke got way too hot and burned everything. The ribs were dry and burned and the taste of the smoke was overpowering. There was literally a hard black crust of burnt meat all the way around the ribs and all the moisture had been sucked out. The wings were also extremely dry and the burned smoke was so strong you couldn’t even taste the sauce. I was legit only able to take one bite and hours later the burned smoke flavor is still lingering in my mouth. Very gross. Worst bbq experience ever.

Service was slow out of tons of food. Owner was extremely condescending to his employees, sad because it’s them that make the restaurant because clearly the owner doesn’t care anymore. Which you can also tell by his lack luster appearance.
We were pleasantly surprised by this "off the beaten path" restaurant. The food was excellent. I had the Slopper with slaw, my wife had the brisket and slaw, and my niece had the Porker and sweet potato fries. You won't be disappointed with any dish. Can't wait to get back to try something else. 10/06/2024 stopped in again last night for dinner. Being a Saturday night, we expect a long wait--not the case. We were seated fairly quickly and had a great dinner. I had the Hogback burger with sweet potato fries. It was excellent!!

Sat at the bar to get waited on for over 20 minutes, the restaurant was not busy whatsoever. Oh well, they lost out on an over 200 dollar to go order, I'm assuming they go by skin color here to see who gets served and who doesn't.
